The front page of today’s New York Times has a much better map. Shows heavy cases in the South.
Could be the invasion, partly, although Times would never admit that. Better to say it’s people going indoors because of the hot weather.

More phoney numbers. Hospitals are incentivized to report COVID. They get federal money for “COVID” patients.
US Covid cases have been declining for several weeks, and nowhere more so than in places like Florida. Source: Worldometer.
New cases have been dropping for weeks.
They can get back to me when they can distinguish between COVID, the common cold, and the flu.
Until then, they are just writing every illness whatever the cause off to COVID just to jack numbers.
COVID is NOT the only disease on the planet.
My curiosity in this is SARs-II is going on it’s third year after about October 2019. How does one discern variants? Number of those where the injections work and don’t work? Which strain this year or merely selling a booster for the delta variant?
I’m having a very hard time sifting through what is medical, behavioral, government propaganda, pharma truth versus propaganda and just media fear sell.
IOW, I’m skeptical of all the numbers now. And the doctors I know have stopped talking over a year ago for fear of losing their license

Every week it is something different.
It is a flu bug. A nasty one, but it is just a flu bug. If a state has an outbreak, then it is probably not going to have a 2nd big outbreak. If a state never had a big outbreak then sometime in the future it is going to.
It is just a flu bug doing what flu bugs do. This isn’t rocket science. The only thing keeping this thing going round and round are the leaky “vaccines”. We should have hit herd immunity months ago.
We don’t test the strain. That’s fine at the state lab and not on all. Just a sampling. I’m not sure the size of sampling.
Not unless they are all being shipped to Alaska and North Dakota. All of the rising states are in the North.
It’s okay. When I worked at hospitals I just sent whatever to the lab. Sputum samples and blood.
I’ve just lost track of the strains in the last almost two years. SARs-II has overwhelmed me. I admit it.
12 weeks ago was the end of the least deadly 5 week period since March 2020, when the pandemic had just begun.
COVID fatalities were below 2,000 per week for 5 straight weeks, and people started saying the COVID death storm was over.
Then, Delta showed up.
