During his opening statement in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday morning, General Mark Milley denied inappropriate phone calls with the Chinese military and tried to reassure Americans he is dedicated to civilian control of the military.
"I am specifically directed to communicate with the Chinese. These military to military communications at the highest level are critical to the security of the United States," Milley said. "My loyalty to this Nation, its people, and the Constitution hasn't changed, and will never change, as long as I have a breath to give. My loyalty is absolute, and I will not turn my back on the fallen."
"I firmly believe in civilian control of the military," he continued.

What Milley said at the hearing is what would be said under normal circumstances. He has now given his word on the subject. I believe he said what he knows should be said. He’s under no duress. He has no excuse for lying to protect himself. He must be held accountable if he told the Chinese he would warn them. He’s on record saying he didn’t think Trump would attack. But, maybe he knows Nancy Pelosi would pursue such an effort somehow.
Why?
He was a battalion commander in Iraq for awhile. Doubt he ever came under fire, but some of his troops probably did.
Well, it does lead to a good opening question: “Under whose authority did you say that you’d essentially undermine a lawful order from the sitting President of the US?”
That I’d like to hear.
I knew a guy who was a full colonel. His wife told us that he was at the point of deciding is he wanted to be a politician or retire.

Let me add something here lest my feelings be misinterpreted. I’m an Army brat and the widow of a career US Army member . That is the scope of my my experience. I don’t have a clue about the things I just offered by way of comment.

You can’t be serious. Milley is under severe duress as the Afghan pullout was arguably the most disgraceful event in U.S. military history, and it will have lasting consequences for decades to come. He disgraced this country and those who gave so much fighting for it.

Did he or didn’t he... commit treason? His excuses, revisionist re-interpretation of the Constitution, and of the evidence not withstanding, did he commit treason? And did Nancy Pelousy initiate a Military Coup detat? These are the only questions that need to be answered.

There is a possibility he is a white hat guy helping to flush out black hats in the military. Note how he said he was doing what he did as per prior meetings. If this is the case, he’ll be basically an informant, for military tribunals.
Another possibility has him as a grey hat - was black, but turning states witness. In order to save his life. Some rumors have him arrested back in 2017, and now acting in the past few months under direction of white hats.

From Milley's oath-bound testimony, it is Nancy Pelosi who is inserting herself into the Chain of Command.
Seizing the moment, Speaker Pelosi commits an act of treason with Milley and attempts to wrest executive power from the hated Trump administration.
This crime is unprecedented in American history--a leader of the Legislative Branch attempts to abrogate the U.S. Constitution and seize power over the Executive Branch.
Pelosi's attempt to overthrow the sitting President and assume secret control of the government should result in arrest and the subsequent Trial of the Century.
That said, not one follow up question from a democrat or Republican about Pelosi injecting herself into a national security matter and referring to the POTUS as “crazy” to the JCS who reports solely to the President Not only that, how did Pelosi know the Chinese were anxious about being “nuked”, on October 30th, five days before the election? What if Trump would have won or did they know he wouldn’t be elected. This entire think stinks.
Did Milley advise the President of Pelosi’s call?
If I recall Milley has a CIB with OLC (2 awards).
The CIB, Jump Wings and Ranger tabs have become boxes to be checked for any officer that planned on making a career in the Army.
I did look up his “medals and decorations” and they are participation awards that are given to officers as they leave one command to take over another.
