WTF has happened to FREEPERS?????? HARD HEARTED, SNARKY....BLACK SOULS......THIS IS NOT FUNNY.

Many of today's Freepers have neither the wit or maturity of Freepers from years past. They can barely comment intelligently on anything and think they're being funny or smart by throwing out snarky and cynical comments about everything. It's become more like a junior high school than a Conservative forum. And don't get me started on the infestation of Despair Trolls and doom-and-gloomers. There is reason for cynicism today, but it it isn't an answer for anything and serves no purpose except to demoralize.

I agree entirely with your remarks. I don’t think we need to be Pollyannas and just burble along ignorantly, but these predictable, tritely cynical remarks get us nowhere and do nothing to advance our positions. They just discourage people, turn them off and make conservatism look bitter and hopeless.

Trump could occasionally go on a rant. But I think that what people liked about him most was that he was positive, he had enthusiasm, and he didn’t shoot himself down before he even got started, which is essentially what negativity does.

I’m with you - the death of a mother and her two year old son is NOT a subject for humor...

This is a horrible story -

My heart is broken for all involved.

I am sure the mother gave her life trying desperately to save her little person...

I believe the little guy is with Jesus, and pray the mothers heart also belonged to Jesus.

Truly tragic story, and hope there was no murder crime involved.

If the father didn’t have anything to do with it, as a father, my heart really goes out for him, and praying Gods grace to overwhelm him in the midst of this true heartbreak.

The guy who did this should be thrown from the same mall spot.

This generation is totally out of control, without morality, and generally just killing our country.

She had to be desperate, but should pay for her crimes.

My heart is also broken for these little people who desperately need love, and often desire to make their parents happy...

Another real tragedy.
