In short we have nothing left to lose and everything to gain. In fact imagine if Donald Trump himself went state to state pushing for the COS and offered to chair it? Imagine the exploding heads on the left if that were to happen! For that alone the COS should be pursued!

The communists leading their revolution have TOTAL control of everything. We used to think the military would be our last bastion if it ever really went south. Well, even the military is gone now. That being said, why would the regime allow such a clearly constitutional event to occur with all their power hanging in the balance? You’d have to fight a civil war to force them to allow a convention. The regime will not relinquish power peacefully. That is obvious.

You had me intrigued until the part when started mentioning, “the Republicans must…” Then I knew it was a lost cause from the start. The Republicans will literally stand by and be witness to the greatest tragedy in human governance history as the US falls apart. I lost ALL faith in the party hence why I left it last December. I wish it was otherwise but to pin your hopes on them is a nonstarter…….

In 1776, our founders signed the Declaration of Independence which ended with:

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

These men represented the wealthy, the influential, and the well-connected. When men of such means are willing to fight for these beliefs, the average man will follow.

But the average man is not able to do this on his own; at best, he’ll end up like John Brown.

Stupid idea. You and that other COS guy are nuts. The Dems would take it over so fast your heads will not even begin to spin before their guillotine chops them off. There is not ‘safeguard’ you can enact to prevent them from circumventing it - just like all the other laws.

COS was made for honest intelligent educated people with common sense of which their seems to be huge lack these days.

There is now only the unused box to fix things. All else is wishful thinking and magic.

Too many people think an Article V Convention would turn into a free-for-all Constitutional Convention, with EVERYTHING up for grabs (notably the 2nd Amendment).

The public needs to know that AMENDMENTS ONLY may be discussed and voted. Also, the choice of a chairman for the convention will be crucial, and while Donald Trump would be an inspired choice, I believe Mark Levin would be even better. (Mr. Trump never showed enough passion about the Constitution, IMHO.)

So … choose the Amendments carefully, choose a chairman wisely, inform the public about exactly what will take place, and all ahead flank speed!

No document can save America. It will take a lot of blood in the streets, and Americans just aren’t there yet. Most won’t ever be willing to do what it takes. America is destined for the dust bin of history, likely within my lifetime (by ~2050).

Oh, I think there’s still a helluva lot left to lose, and more of it’s getting lost every week we go without a CoS.

To my mind, The Point Of No Return is just after the first State actually secedes from the Union. It’d likely be one of the States that have already signed on to push for a CoS, so we’d be down by one. But that secession would either galvanize the remaining States to push CoS over the top and DO it, and maybe we recover and the departed State is readmitted; or it’ll start a chain reaction, and several other States will also secede — probably also States supporting a CoS, so that move will be crippled, such that there aren’t enough remainig States to initiate a CoS.

That’s the time as I read it on my watch.

It’s VERY LATE.

States that support a CoS need to publicly prepare to secede, and they need to say out loud to all the cameras and microphones, “By January 1st, 2022, there’s either going to be enough additional States join with us to hold a Constitutional Article V Convention of States, or we are — every one of us — leaving the Union on January 2nd. Either another 15 States figure out what time it is and join up with us to restore this Republic, or we’ll consider it dead, and go our way in peace.”

THAT — at the very least, the announcement of a certain make-or-break date for deciding — is really what’s needed, now.

This communist revolution started a long time ago. But nobody is quiet sure when exactly it began. Was it when the federal taxes began or FDR and The New Deal? Or was it after the last Civil War during reconstruction? Was during the Vietnam War, the House on Un-American Activities when they found communists in government and in media and Hollywood? Assassination of JFK? Vietnam War? 60s Cultural revolution? 9/11? Carter, Clinton, Obama or even the Johnson administrations? Could be any of those.

Agreed. but with this resounding chord of caution: In 1789 our Constitution DID NOT include its first 10 Amendments aka the "Bill of Rights".

There is no certainty that a COS (which I support) would perpetuate and enshrine those precious Amendments!
