Breaking down Week 3 of the 2021 college football schedule
FBSCHEDULES ^ | September 15, 2021 | Amy Daughters

It only took 14 days for half of the preseason Top 4 teams to fall in 2021. The seismic shift could continue this Saturday with the No. 1 thru No. 3 squads all playing Power 5 foes including top dog (1) Alabama’s roadie at (11) Florida.

From start to finish, Week 3 serves up 73 matchups, all but 21 (or 29%) featuring an FBS vs. FBS pairing. Though the action kicks-off on Thursday night, no ranked teams will hit the field until a Saturday jam-packed with 70 contests. If you’re wondering what the most fruitful time slot might be, all three of this week’s ranked vs. ranked matchups kickoff between 3:30 and 10:15pm EST.

looking to go 3-0

I think yer whistlin' past the graveyard there, Mr. dead. Delaware's pretty good! How 'bout a bet? $50 donation to FR?

How 'bout those Presbyterian Blue Hose? Their QB throws a record-setting 10 TDs, and after 2 games, the team still hasn't punted!!

Franklin is going to USC; Penn State will beat Auburn.

I thought Penn had a very strong defense.....

Watching Auburn in their first few tune-up games, they made a lot of ‘rookie” mistakes that a seasoned team would have capitalized on.....

New coaches have a decent amount of gratis from fans for the better part of a season.....

Unless they make a series of stupid or questionable calls, then all bets are off.....

This freeper will be pulling for her beloved AUBURN TIGERS for the win.

I’ve been a Tiger fan since 1962. It’s family. But I also know the roller coaster of being an Auburn fan. Shug Jordan used to say that on any given Saturday, any team has the potential of beating any other team. It is all talk until the final whistle blows.

If you have A SECOND, I’ll be happy to tell you about final plays of a game or a half.

FWIW, I am also hoping the GATORS pull of a win.

I think Mullen isn’t saying anything, and wisely so, keep Bama guessing.

I predict Urban Meyer will be Notre Dame’s head coach next year.

I think Auburn is going to win easily.

That whole SEC West is stacked this year. I think LSU is going to finish last in the West.

LOL, only if the Tigers play up to potential. Penn State will not manage more than seventeen points.

WELCOME! We’re glad you’re here. Would you like to be on my state and my Auburn ping lists? I do NOT have a ping list for any other, lesser, universities.

I live just inside East University drive between the high school and the 9th grade school.

I really have no idea of how the Florida Bama game is going to go.

It’s going to be Bryce Young’s first real test on the road. Of course Florida’s quarterbacks have a lot of questions too, even AR-15 hasn’t seen anything like Alabama yet. You’re just not going to tell a lot from those games against FAU and USF.

And likewise, Miami and Mercer don’t tell us a lot about Bama, neither.

*** Shug Jordan used to say that on any given Saturday, any team has the potential of beating any other team. It is all talk until the final whistle blows.***

ESPECIALLY in college football!

My main complaint about my favorite teams is that they all read their fawning press clippings and believe they are invincible. This is usually why the big teams go down. They don’t respect their opponents’ abilities enough.

Going to be fun when SEC West teams start playing each other.

I loved every minute of that Arkansas-Texas game.

Local radio guys in JAX don’t think Meyer will bail on the Jags. He’s got his QB, obviously, and they said that he hired a huge staff. Biggest in the NFL. They don’t see him bailing on them and leaving them jobless.
