It only took 14 days for half of the preseason Top 4 teams to fall in 2021. The seismic shift could continue this Saturday with the No. 1 thru No. 3 squads all playing Power 5 foes including top dog (1) Alabama’s roadie at (11) Florida.
From start to finish, Week 3 serves up 73 matchups, all but 21 (or 29%) featuring an FBS vs. FBS pairing. Though the action kicks-off on Thursday night, no ranked teams will hit the field until a Saturday jam-packed with 70 contests. If you’re wondering what the most fruitful time slot might be, all three of this week’s ranked vs. ranked matchups kickoff between 3:30 and 10:15pm EST.

You are looking live! All times are EST. I remember growing up, on some weekend afternoons independent TV stations would sometimes show a horror movie or creature feature. If you are looking for an early afternoon horror show there is the revival of the Nebraska - Oklahoma rivalry at Norman. The Sooners are a 22 point favorite. Scott Frost at Nebraska is an ongoing horror show bringing the Huskers to new lows I have never seen before. If you are not interested in a snuff movie there are a couple of interesting inter-conference games at Noon: Cincinnati at Indiana, VT at WVU and Sparty paying a visit to the U. I think I will need to do some remote programming to switch from one game to another. As typical, CBS has the game of the day during their 3:30 pm time slot as 'Bama pays a visit to the Swamp. 'Bama is an over 2 touchdown favorite. The prime time game is the rare occurrence of a SEC team traveling north of the Mason-Dixon Line as Auburn visits Happy Valley. We Are Penn State will welcome Auburn with a White Out. I have no clue about Auburn as they beat up on two cupcakes. How will Auburn react when it gets smacked for the first time in the season?

I actually saw Florida play Rutgers in the Meadowlands years ago. Some Rutgers fans attacked our bus after the game.....good times!

Anytime someone mentions Rutgers I go waaaaayyy back to 1985 when Rutgers came into Gainesville expected to be blown out, but triumphantly leaving with a 28 all tie. The Gators stormed to a 28-7 lead, and then took the foot off the pedal. Ughhhh... Sitting there watching it happen was torture. Near the end the feeling was that there was nothing the Gators could do to stop them. Never knew so many Rutgers fans were in Gainesville, but after the game they were everywhere.

Oh yes, I remember that game very well, they had taken Kerwin Bell out, thinking the game was in hand.
I think the Choke at Doak was the only other game that made me feel so sick afterwards.

Do you think he’ll start? I bet Mullins uses Jones at the beginning. How long it will last is anyone’s guess.
To: nevergore
The question I have is, if Auburn loses to Penn State will the Auburn fans turn anger towards the new coach or the athletic director?
