If they are anything like the beans I usually eat, no one wants to get within 20 feet of me afterwords. My wife even makes me sleep in the den.

As such, I am not exposed to any germs or viruses.

My wife and I have eaten natto beans on and off, for over a dozen years.

They are strangely slimy, but otherwise don’t have much taste, which is why they give you both a vinegar and a mustard packet.

They are the highest source of vitamin K2-MK7 in the world.

A recognised health food, natto is lauded for its highly nutritious qualities, with the fermentation developing high levels of probiotics which can improve digestion.

Lived in Japan 3 years. Love love love 99.9% of Japanese food. Natto (fermented soy beans that are nearly rotting) is not one of those. Shiokara (salted fermented squid or fish intestines) is another. Call me picky.

Since the highly infectious Delta variant now rules the roost, folks should grind up the beans into a fine dry powder and inhale the powder through the nasal cavities.

But seriously penicillin being discovered by observation of the effects of a mold on a lab specimen of bacteria is simply one of many medicines being serendipitously discovered from nature.

“Natto is a traditional Japanese dish made of fermented soya beans, known for its slimy, sticky and stringy texture.”

So, you’re saying that it’s like eating snot.

I wish the CDC and Fauci had used my original sheeple comment where shoving a banana 🍌 up your ass stops the spread of covid in the event of flatulence.

Think of the innovation that could have driven in new clothing lines, motor vehicle seat modifications and restaurant and bar stool mods.

The number of people that would comy would be staggering. I can imagine AOCs dress at the Met Gala 😱😱

Sheeple gotta sheep 🐑 I guess.

So cool! I eat natto daily because it’s high in K2. Maybe that is why I’ve never gotten the dreaded disease. Natto is a fermented soy bean. You can mix it with rice and spices, etc, or just eat it plain. It’s an acquired taste for sure. And when you fork it up, long strings connect the bite to the plate. I roll my fork like I’m twirling pasta, otherwise you end up with these hair-like strings dangling from your chin. :p It’s pretty ridiculous.

There is an extract of the natto beans, nattokinase, that is taken to help regulate cardiac health (blood, circulation, etc.)...readily available through health food stores, Amazon, etc. Frequently, paired with serrapeptase. Lumbrokinase is another extract that is supposed to have beneficial properties. Related to the kinase treatments to break up clots in the circulatory system
