At long last, someone has taken a deep dive into those numbers and the reality is very different from what the media present.
One of the biggest stories in the media concerns hospitals filled to overflowing with COVID patients. However, as an article in The Atlantic (of all places!) informs us, these numbers are misleading. Almost half of the people in the hospital with COVID are either mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic. In other words, to anyone running around screaming, “We’re all gonna die!” the answer is “No, we’re not.”
The biggest story is that of a 73-year-old Alabama man who purportedly died from a treatable heart attack after dozens of hospitals across a three-state region turned him away owing to the fact that their ICUs were overflowing with COVID patients. I say purportedly out of caution because there’s almost no confirming evidence other than the family’s say-so. The hospital to which he was originally taken confirmed only that “he needed medical services that were not available” at that hospital. Moreover, he eventually ended up in a hospital in Mississippi, 200 miles from his home.
Those two bits of evidence do indicate that his family is accurately describing what happened. On the other hand, we also know that hospital staffers, especially nurses, are quitting in droves because they refuse to comply with their hospitals’ “get vaccinated or get fired” mandates. That means that the man could have been rejected from several hospitals not because the beds were full but because the staffing rosters were empty.
The reason I’m casting a teeny bit of shade on that tragic story is that The Atlantic, one of the bastions of the Deep State establishment, has a rather interesting story. It turns out that a deep-dive study that looked at the data

Reported as ICU even if people had no or minimal COVID symptoms? Sounds like a fear game is being played.
Sounds to me like the hospitals are getting paid more money to treat COVID patients, than others. Follow the money...

Zeroing-in on the answer.
The hospital administrators get paid on a compensation plan that includes revenue as a target.
Money is at the root of this plandemic.
Why would asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic people be in the hospital with this?
Because they have other things wrong.
Japanese Study — ‘Delta variant is poised to acquire complete resistance to Vaccines’…
September 15, 2021
A number of experts have raised concerns that COVID-19 jabs and the mass vaccination program could worsen the pandemic by triggering the development of new variants, via a concept known as antigenic, or immune, escape.
Another study found that a worst-case scenario can develop when a large percentage of a population is vaccinated but viral transmission remains high, driving the development of resistant strains.

Notice that even though the pandemic is now “worse than ever “, they are not even discussing another lockdown, conceding that the last one was unnecessary. And now, masking and vaccinating are also beyond the public’s tipping point. It’s all been revealed as a massive hoax, which is why even saying so out loud is pointedly verboten. The truth is torturing them.
A 20% ‘add on’ to Medicare/Medicaid hospital bills because of the Cares Act sure didnt help. It was worth it for them to admit you for a few days for mild flu symptoms.
When I had my baby a few months ago, I tested positive for COVID.. on top of my pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, etc. I had zero symptoms including no fever, no cough, I felt 100% normal, yet here I was getting the full plague treatment which made my birthing experience less than ideal.
They also tested my baby daily and would only stop if he tested positive. They refused to give me another test, too. Just in it for the $$$ without any concern over how it’ll affect their patients. I counted as a “COVID patient” but I wasn’t.
And now the hospitals and medical industru are puppets of the communist democRATs. Follow the democRAT storyline or get prosecuted for the fraud crimes that the communist democRATs enticed you to commit.
I heard.. and I don’t have a link but heard. That if your not feeling good and go to the hospital to get checked and come back positive for covid then even if you get sent home they count it as being hospitalized. They run the numbers up. I heard that, but also in my area I know people that have went for other reasons and they said there was people lying in beds in the hallways. So not sure what to believe.
That was my question as well.
“Sounds like a fear game is being played.”
Since day one, yes, a fear game and many people played along. As time progresses and more truth come out, more and more realize it’s a game. So they came up with the ultra deadly Delta Variant, something so evil it could rekill the already dead. For most that scare never worked, it’s like the Boy Cried Wolf story.
We’ve been hit with Chinese bio warfare (covid), a trashed economy because of it, a stolen election, a fake vaccine, and a shameful leaving of US citizens stranded in a war zone.
What’s next?
EVERYTHING about “COVID” is a LIE.
On the other hand, we also know that hospital staffers, especially nurses, are quitting in droves because they refuse to comply with their hospitals’ “get vaccinated or get fired” mandates. Crash the system. Break the deep state.
I was hospitalized last year with a heart issue. It resolved fairly quickly, but they wanted to do an echocardiogram before I was discharged. I needed a negative Covid test before that could happen
The results took more than 24 hours to come back from the lab, so I basically spent a day locked in a hospital room for no reason but to wait on the test result. I had my hubby deliver my laptop so I could at least get a little work done.
So what should have taken 24 hrs or less took 3 days. When I got the bill, there was an $18,000 “write off” that my insurance did not have to consider, so it appears my admission was likely coded as Covid-related.
