As some of you might know, I am a federal employee and I work at a military installation in the central USA.
With all of the talk of vaccine mandates everyone has been on edge. Many are pissed, but the vast majority are scared of what is happening not only in the world, this nation, but locally as well.
Today, members of the military here received their “marching order” sort to speak. What follows is the directive that came down from local leadership. It’s been edited to eliminate names and items that could be considered sensitive information, but I think you’ll get the jist of what is happening to our military members:
To ensure we meet expectations directed from higher headquarters and get members vaccinated, I want to have a gathering in the afternoon on Sunday. This assembly will be an answer and question session for all to participate in, and we will answer any questions not covered previous to today. We will also cover a written order that will be issued this Sunday to members present who have not been vaccinated. In addition, those who are presently undecided must now decide whether to volunteer to get either the J&J or Moderna vaccines. If military members want to retire instead of getting the vaccine, they need to submit an application for retirement by COB Sunday with a retirement date of December 2nd. They will be excused from duty until then. If any date later than 2 Dec is chosen, the vaccination is required.
We want to guarantee our members know we value their health and welfare. They must also understand we are a military organization. We have been given an order and will carry that out.
As I said, I cut out some verbiage so it won’t give away my location or the military installation I work at, but the message is clear; you either get the jab or you’re out. It’s that simple. This is the world that Biden has created. He said he would not mandate vaccinations, and he lied! I want that punk of a man brought up on charges of lying to the American population, but of course we know that’s the native tongue for most politicians.

You are the kind of transplant we need. Look around, it's a big state and everyone's tastes are different. I love east Tx because it's always green and I can garden almost year round, but when I get in the hill country I feel the touch of god. I hope you find a home here.

I can’t retire until Dec 2022 at the earliest, and I won’t have 30 years until Feb 2023. So I’m hosed in that regard if they force me out. But I ain’t quitting so that’s exactly what they will be forced to do since I won’t take the shot.

Honestly, that’s exactly what I hope happens. I would love to see the military decimated so people like me can point a finger right into the face of Fascist Biden and say, “I told you so, you piece of excrement.” Anything that will hasten his removal from office would be welcomed.

The only approved vaccine is Comirnaty.
The others are under EUA, and as such cannot be compelled onto anyone as that would be a violation of the Nuremburg Code.
Insist on Comirnaty or nothing.
Where abouts you from? My proposed retirement destinations have always been a small cabin in the Montana wilderness, somewhere in Texas, or a small island out in the middle of the Pacific, not necessarily in that order.

My issue is not with vaccines. I believe people should take it if they want to, or refuse it if they want to.
My issue is 100% with mandates and restrictions on unvaccinated.
Same here. I'm not an anti-vaxer, but I want to have the ability to make the choice for myself, not have the government mandate it.

Same here, I just don’t see any happening, or anyone standing up to the military hierarchy, and the little guy is one about to be crushed because of Biden and Co. Oh, I so hate that man!
