As some of you might know, I am a federal employee and I work at a military installation in the central USA.
With all of the talk of vaccine mandates everyone has been on edge. Many are pissed, but the vast majority are scared of what is happening not only in the world, this nation, but locally as well.
Today, members of the military here received their “marching order” sort to speak. What follows is the directive that came down from local leadership. It’s been edited to eliminate names and items that could be considered sensitive information, but I think you’ll get the jist of what is happening to our military members:
To ensure we meet expectations directed from higher headquarters and get members vaccinated, I want to have a gathering in the afternoon on Sunday. This assembly will be an answer and question session for all to participate in, and we will answer any questions not covered previous to today. We will also cover a written order that will be issued this Sunday to members present who have not been vaccinated. In addition, those who are presently undecided must now decide whether to volunteer to get either the J&J or Moderna vaccines. If military members want to retire instead of getting the vaccine, they need to submit an application for retirement by COB Sunday with a retirement date of December 2nd. They will be excused from duty until then. If any date later than 2 Dec is chosen, the vaccination is required.
We want to guarantee our members know we value their health and welfare. They must also understand we are a military organization. We have been given an order and will carry that out.
As I said, I cut out some verbiage so it won’t give away my location or the military installation I work at, but the message is clear; you either get the jab or you’re out. It’s that simple. This is the world that Biden has created. He said he would not mandate vaccinations, and he lied! I want that punk of a man brought up on charges of lying to the American population, but of course we know that’s the native tongue for most politicians.

Neither of these two vaccines have final approval.
Dec 2 is 75 days beyond Sept 18. A lot can happen or change by Dec. I wouldn’t put in for retirement just yet and be excused until then unless I defintely wanted out anyway. Wait and see what happens, could still retire later and not get the shot. Why are they rushing retirees?

I’ve talked to people who’ve given the vaccine to military. It’s for real. They are gearing up for it and do expect resignations.
It’s terrible.
If truth be told, if the previous commander was still in place, this probably would not be happening. But he retired recently and I think he did so seeing the writing that was on the wall. The current commander is not impressing many if I may use this phrase, is a "yes man" for higher headquarters. But no one has the courage to stand up to him. All he sees is a directive and he plans on carrying it out, no matter the costs to the personnel and base moral.

Which at this stage in my life, I think I'm more than ready for a change. Fire me, give me my unpaid leave and whatever I can get out of my TSP, and I'm gonna hit the road. Probably head towards Texas so I can be part of the new republic down there when they secede from the union. Would love to find a small town where I can just sit back and watch the nation burn itself down.
The answer is in the UCMJ itself. Lawful orders. Anything that is not constitutional cannot be lawful. When these kids get jacked up and/or sterilized, “I was just following orders” is not a defense.

That which is experimental cannot be mandated. Consent must be obtained, not ordered. Period.

Surely there has to be someone, somewhere, who knows how to fight this, in the courts. I want to see this entire administration sued for what they are doing, before it is too late for the honorable military members who are having to go through this hell.
