I mean in terms of policies. I honestly can't find any information, including any conservative sites. It almost seems that her only accomplishment is helping to get Trump elected.
It was my understanding that she was involved in formulating policies on school choice, but I can't find anything on that.
She might have been involved with policy decisions, but I always viewed her more as a spokesperson who would go on TV and defend the Trump Administration which was a full time job considering how the media reacted to anything Trump related.
I was never a fan of Kelly Ann and I don’t believe she had anything to do with policies, BUT, what I think is that she had an uncanny ability to see what it would take for Donald Trump.
She convinced President Trump to concentrate on BATTLEGROUND STATES in 2016. When de did that, it was a game changer.
If I am wrong, so be it, but I will always feel that she helped him win the office.
And for that, I shall always like her...and conversely despise her husband.
As long as she is with that fat slob i will consider her a liability. His hatred for trump is so driven he could have been spying into all kinds of things
Kellyanne was first and foremost a pollster, so yes she did help him win.
But we heard constant stories about her being the source of leaks. She wanted to be liked by media so would give a lot of info ‘on background’ briefings which often gave too much away.
Her husband was a total disgrace. He was even a co-founder of that dastardly Lincoln Society which purported to be “Republicans” who could not stand Trump. Trump should have disengaged the whole family when that started. She had actually told her husband that one of their prizes for helping Trump win office would be George getting a Supreme Court seat!! Can you imagine? That porcine toad on the court? Another guy who thought he had a seat coming to him was “Judge” Napolitano, a wolverine forheaded moron on Fox.
I thought that they were divorcing.
Well first, Happy New Year.
I agree with everything you say and being of Italian heritage, I always like to see them succeed.
But, I must tell you I celebrated the day Nappy got what was coming to him.
Next, let’s get Neil Cavuto.
In 2016, after Cruz dropped out, Trump picked up Kelly Ann Conway and several others from his (Cruz’) campaign staff. Kelly Ann became the first female campaign manager to win a presidential campaign. This is like being Miller Huggins (the manager at the time) when you have Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Obviously, the players on the field won the games, not the manager in the dugout.
Kelley Ann’s winning strategy was to focus on the midwest (as opposed to worry about the size Trump’s margin in states like Texas). After the election was over, she shared that the Trump campaign, like the public polls, never had Trump ahead in the key states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. But, they saw the election as close, and that a lot of undecided voters had demographics that said Democrat and values that said Republican (or, that said Trump). Hopefully, in the secrecy of the voting booth, their values would win out.
To help this happen, she kept the campaign focused on values and featuring speakers and faces in the crowd that would help voters in heavily-Democratic demographic categories to see they could vote for Trump. Of course, this strategy could not work without Donald Trump. The man was so authentic as well as a relentless campaigner.
Now I’ll share a tiny little secret about something that Kelly Ann did. Wisconsin is a same-day state (at least it used to be) and it’s not unusual for people of heavily-Democratic Illinois to make their way to Wisconsin to register and vote on election day. To suppress this form of cheating, Kelly Ann had the campaign place some ads in the Chicago market, as though Illinois was in play.
So why didn’t this approach work in 2020? It’s because of vote harvesting. Minorities absolutely need the privacy of the voting booth. With growing numbers of minorities coming over to our side, this might not be so important in the future. But, don’t kid yourself about right now. When a Democratic election worker comes to your house to collect your vote, it’s hard to keep your vote a secret. The biggest, most important thing we have to do is restore the secrecy of the voting booth and put an end to vote harvesting.
As Kellyanne was an adviser and not a cabinet secretary or agency head, she was not in a position to have a “record”.
She was someone whom Donald Trump trusted and included in his circle of confidants.
As far as her family life is concerned, she announced that she was stepping away from politics to try to save her family; she has children by George Conway. A rarity in today’s world, where divorces are a dime a dozen.
The first woman to manage a winning Presidential campaign - no small feat in a world of rigged elections and media complicity.
And isn’t it wonderful.
Considering all the women who have tried and failed to become relevant.
Re: "It almost seems that her only accomplishment is helping to get Trump elected."
That was exactly what she was being paid for.
Don’t judge her by the mess she’s married to ... w/o her, Trump may not have become President.
Mega dittos. She was a liability. She was brave and kept her chin up, but she should have resigned and taken care of family matters. I understand her kid is really effed up.
“She was a liability.”
In whose mind? Everyone in the political arena is a liability. For those disparaging this woman’s effect on the world stage by getting Trump on course, what exactly did YOU do to get Trump elected??
She helped get Trump elected. As far as her family, there is something bad wrong inside her marriage. The dynamics of her husband present him as being a mentally disturbed individual and I am sure that has affected the kids.
I don’t know but her husband was more trouble than she was worth.
A better question would be; What has Potato-Head accomplished after almost 50 years in office that’s worth “bragging” about?
