The EU Copernicus Climate Change Service announced Tuesday that Europe witnessed its hottest summer on record this year.
The record-breaking summer heat comes amid growing warnings from climate scientists that time is running out to prevent the worst effects of climate change.
Copernicus found the average temperature from June to August this year was close to 1 degree Celsius above the 1991-2020 average.
The service said this summer was the warmest in its dataset, which goes back to 1950. …

I live in CenTex. We've had a handful of day over 100 degrees so far. Hard winter (February), soft summer.

Ask them gorebull warming freaks if they’d like to see Redwood trees in Greenland again.
You will get the most stupid blank vacant look you ever saw.

And somewhere else had the coolest summer on record.
It all balances out.
That’s what *average* means.

In our neck of the woods today...weather people predicted 82 for high...hit 91...not to complain...but I am so tired of summer...and of the claim they can predict 24 hours, 24 days, 24 years or 240 years into the future. They cannot.

The service said this summer was the warmest in its dataset, which goes back to 1950.Not a terribly impressive sample period considering the hysteria of the story.

Copernicus Climate Change Service. They are definitely not biased in any way and certainly would not hesitate to say something that would make them not useful. They are perfectly willing to vote themselves out of existence if that were the honest thing to do. This is why I believe them.

The service said this summer was the warmest in its dataset, which goes back to 1950.Since 1950? Wow. A teeney, tiny, itty bitty blip on earth's lifespan. I want to hear about the climate records from 50,000BC or 2,000,000 BC. Why don't the "scientists" dig out those records and compare them to the past 50 years?
