Two men brazenly walked out of an Oregon Lowe's store pushing a shopping cart filled with electrical wire before loading it into a waiting getaway car as helpless store workers looked on in the latest incident of 'legalized stealing' in Democratic states.
The pair picked products like spools of wire valued at $2,000 - presumably to strip it for the valuable copper inside - from a Lowe's in Keizer, a suburb of Salem, on August 25.
Keizer Police confirmed to DailyMail.com that they were investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made and the men have not been publicly identified
Once you've stolen from Lowe's once and know they can't stop you, there's no real consequence,' Keizer Police Lieutenant Andrew Copeland told Fox News, noting employees at many chain stores aren't allowed to stop shoplifters.
'Second thing is, these people know they can't go to jail.'
The video is the latest example of shoplifters simply walking out of stores with armfuls of goods, knowing there is little officials can do to prosecute them, after a string of similar incidents in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

I was pulled over once for expired tabs and the cops approached me with their guns drawn... probably cause they ran my plate first and found I had a concealed permit ?
That’s what they do. And they get away with it.
So, the people who actually have jobs — why should we pay for stuff? We are productive members of society. That ought to count for something. Maybe we should all just start going to stores and just take what we want.
Or is that option only open to people who refuse to contribute to society? Because I often think they get a better deal than I do.
Well they’ve decided not to trade with Texas...so it’s really Texas copper they’re stealing. No foul. /s

When’s Fort Sumter?

There is no way I could have a business in a place with laws like that. I wonder how many are closing and leaving the state.
I noticed the guy in the photo was white. As disgusted as I am about this, I can’t help wondering if anybody in Oregon would have cared if he was black and wearing a BLM hat?
The hell you say!
You gotta get up priiiiiiiity early in the morning to get something past a limey internet journalist. Or, as I think they call them over there, lorries. Lorries.
Lowe’s policy is to not stop thieves. Any employee who follows a thief into the parking lot, even to get a license plate number will be fired on the spot.
and they want to lock up healthy people who don’t want the death shots
Yup.
Yep, all that announcement did was to increase the insurance costs that get passed to the law-abiding in higher costs! Soros DAs don’t care, it is about the ‘good intentions’!
Oh; add the zero bail movement as well!
Enterprising young men!
P.S. Claire Wolfe, we’re nearly out of that awkward phase!

Sorry but no sympathy for Lowes anywhere and even less for Lowes in Oregon. Suck what you sew, wokesters.
What for the “Service Merchandise” retail model to return.
I really like the stuff she writes.
Then Lowe’s deserve everything they suffer through. I worked loss prevention at Target when they had a similar policy. They reversed it when their shrink rate became astronomical.

And we all get to pay for it.
Is that true in all states? I need a new washer and drier and Lowe's carries them. :)
