Adding to the litany of mea culpas regarding the use of ivermectin – a still unproven alternative treatment for the coronavirus – the Associated Press recently issued a correction to a report alleging that 70% of poison control cases in Mississippi were linked to the drug’s ingestion.
Published in late August, the original article said that up to 70% of calls to Mississippi Poison Control were related to the use of ivermectin. Several days later, the Associated Press issued a correction putting the actual number at 2%.

Well, you know... 70%, 2% ... what’s in a number, anyway?
70% or 2%
Easy to how how they messed up on the math
And 99% in ICU are unvaccinated.
There is an issue with Ivermectin that people dont know about. Fat can change the uptake.
I could see this lack of knowledge causing a problem.
It can also affect the lymph nodes which is why I stopped taking it before a surgery. I didnt want them to make a mistake when looking at my lymph nodes.
Although, this issue MIGHT only relate if you have the parasites.
It’s not unproven to me.
For Democrat/Socialist traitors, math is hard...
No one sees the retraction.
Gee, are Rolling Stone and AP sharing an office in the Bronx somewhere? They certainly must be smoking the same crack.
the ASS Press, living up to it’s name...
Yeah, if those tags or keywords that are taking up space at the top of the index page were actually live and based on FR members, which it obviously isn't since it still has teaparty listed, we could add things like "unproven" or "without evidence" and keep track of the bs.
Party like it's 1995
“Well, you know... 70%, 2% ... what’s in a number, anyway?”
Figure don’t lie, but liars figure!
How much you want to bet this 2% consisted mainly of people who panicked and dialed a little too much on the dial and took the amount for 250 pounds when they are 175?
It’s hard to get it completely precise with the dial.
And it’s not like you end up taking all that you squirt out, unless you lick the plate you squirted it on. You have to oversquirt a little to get enough to take.
In other words, they LIED! I don’t even believe the 2% number. Do not believe anything the Ass Press puts out.
I bet 75% of that 2% were calling to inquire about / verify dosages.
Everything the MSM “reports” should be automatically considered a lie, unless proven otherwise.
We should start executing “news people” for such.
The 2% number could be family members who freaked out upon hearing that someone took horse paste only to be told unless the person took the whole tube all will be okay.
“No, sir, your daughter shouldn’t take paste for a horse, of course. But nothing bad will happen and there is no need to do anything. Just be sure to tell her she shouldn’t do it again.”
