So far, there is no clinical evidence it works to treat or prevent COVID-19. And there is widespread consensus people should not take ivermectin at home for COVID-19.

We know very little about what the drug does to humans, and the little we do know mostly comes from its use in animals.
When taken at the recommended dose, the drug is generally well tolerated. But ivermectin is known to cause mild side-effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness and sleepiness. Less common, but serious, side-effects include severe skin rashes and effects on the nervous system (causing tremor, confusion and drowsiness).

Yes, it’s only been in use for 40 years. That means its track record is far worse than the mRNA vaccines which have been in use for 9 months, because SCIENCE and the FDA says so.

One could also say: “When taken at the recommended dose, the vaccines are effective and are generally well tolerated.”

WHO list of essential medicines. Both Ivermectin and HCQ have been on the list for many years.
Only a billion doses have been given to humans with zero side effects. Did he interview the guy who had the severe side effects so we can know he isn’t another made up story?
Your statement cannot be true as it is for ivermectin.
They say the one patient ‘over-dosed’ but yet they do not discuss the proper dosage, because they wouldn’t want to give their readers any useful information. The world medical community has the failed THE PEOPLE.
In case anyone is wondering why Merck would downplay Ivermectin (which they have produce under the brand Stromectil since 1995 - past Patent protection).
Ivermectin has been touted as a “Wonder Drug” by the NIH and is on the WHO list of essential medicine.

This “new” drug starts with an order for $1.2Billion from the US Government for 1.7M doses. (~$705/dose)
Yeah, the vax is well tolerated - especially for the 3 people I personally know who have died from it and the other one who is currently hospitalized for severe clotting in many organs.

The problem is not Invermectin, but taking it without proper guidance. ANY drug can be misused. And they are blatantly lying about it never being approved for human use.

The liberal mind.
They deride using veterinary grade ivermectin as dangerous but force its use as opposed to clinical grade ivermectin by refusing to distribute it for Covid patients.
In other words they refuse usage of the safe alternative.
But normally their foundational principles are to make abortion safe and legal because otherwise it’s too dangerous.
