This economy may be working great for Donald Trump and his wealthy friends — but it's not working for the rest of America.

It's time we change that.— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) September 8, 2020

There’s no point in buying another vehicle when there’s no more gas to put in it.

My 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is going for the same price as I paid for it new when I drove it off the lot 16 years ago.

Our only kid, now 27, bought their first new vehicle last November. Mind you, it was for a 2020 model (even at that time, not many 2021s in). Got nearly $10K off sticker for a $38K vehicle), along with getting top dollar for the trade-in (pretty close to what selling it outright would have netted). Damn good timing.

I’ve been buying cheap cars and fixing them up for my grandkids. Unfortunately the $3000 cars are now $4500 and not many to be found.

The local trash company told me they can’t keep all their fleet on the road because of scarce repair parts.

“We may never see normal in the near future or we’ve redefined normal,” said Jeff Schuster, LMC Automotive’s president of Americas Operations and Global Vehicle Forecasts.

This is the sort of things people were saying all through Obama's time in office. Then Trump came along and suddenly a lot of impossible things became possible. But the uniparty couldnt have an able, effective, and most importantly, INDPENDENT leader so they turned the USA upside down just to get rid of him. And the payoff? Back to "Life is going to suck in the USA and there's nothing that can be done about it."

Maybe at least it woke up some peopl that it doesn't have to be that way.

I bought my new Silverado 1500 just before Covid hit, so I won’t be looking for a new one for years. My wife bought her new Subaru Outback in 2018, so she’s also set. I don’t see the need for any major purchases for quite some time.

>>Consumers Will Pay High Prices for New and Used Cars for Next 2 Years

This consumer won’t be - there is nothing I like buying less than new cars. Hate having to take a shower after visiting any car dealer to wash off the slime and filth.

I pray that the 2022 mid-terms will be an absolute Bloodbath for the dems. I pray the same thing for RINO’s but, to date other than those retiring I don’t know of many serious challenges to them.

You can thank a Free Traitor™ for this mess and economic insecurity. There are plenty that post here regularity.

Cheaper to keep your current car in tune, repaired.

Shouldn’t we all acknowledge that globalism and “free trade” has been a total failure?

I just sold a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 for 40% more than I paid for it 18 months and 10,000 miles ago, and I’ll be saving over $1200/yr on insurance on it.

Drove by my local Ford dealership today. No cars, just pickups.

I’ve got a company car that’s well past the turn in point. Since new cars aren’t available, I’m just racking up the miles.

I’m guessing I’ll be able to buy it cheap in a while.

Got lucky with a new 2022 KIA Telluride SX. No “market adjustment” .....just MSRP which is bad enough. It’s a spectacular vehicle. Dealer that I purchased it from now adds $5000 as a “market adjustment” due to their demand. Takes months to get after a reservation. We got extremely lucky......
