That was the primary reason for getting it. My job is circling around the obvious eventuality of requiring the vaccine, even though they are currently saying that it’s not mandatory. I’m not going to wait for them to do what they are going to do.
I hear tell the Moderna vax causes “male enhancement” over the long term.
Are these going to become weekly threads when Fauci orders the boosters?

I've never had anyone tell me I had to wait 15 minutes after a flu shot, whether it's been my doctor's office, or the pharmacy.
Moderna is the best. Will get my booster when it’s available.

So why are you telling us you refused to wait 15 minutes to see if there is a reaction? Is this to atone for the fact you finally submitted to the vaccine?
I’m still trying to figure out why, after you visit the eye doctor, and they put the drops in your eyes to dilate your pupils, and you can’t see shit, but they let you get in your car and drive yourself home. I hate it, because it takes the rest of the day to wear off. I can’t read, watch TV, or do anything productive.
I already have that problem without taking the shot.
IMO high risk people over 60 may want to take the risk with an experimental. Not much chance they are going to be having more kids.
From what I have read the Sputnik shot is a vaccine based on similar products with a history of being used on people. Not sure why it is not more available other than its from Russia
and J&J is a no starter for me with it having baby parts in it.

And having it forced on you by saying that without a vaccination you can’t go to school, you can’t go on a plane, you can’t work at your job, and saying “Well, it is your choice. We aren’t forcing you.”
I get the impression you and I are of the same sentiment-when a massive barrage of propaganda is unleashed, I tend to dig in my heels and draw back, especially when I know the people generating it do NOT have my best interests at heart...the same people who have assaulted my freedoms on all sides and tried their damnedest to destroy this country...no. I take nothing they say without a giant salt shaker of salt.
I have said this often before, even to my best friend who muttered “Oh, boy, here we go...”
If this had been a serious pathogen like Smallpox or Bubonic Plague where up to half the people infected die, that would be a very different thing.
We wouldn’t be having these discussions. People would be clamoring for a vaccine, we would wear hazmat suits in public, and social distancing and quarantining would be a non-issue because we might be holed up in our houses with firearms to keep people at bay.
But it ISN’T that. I know millions of people have been sick and died from it, but...millions of people are injured and die while driving automobiles, and nobody is calling to destroy the world economies, degrade or eliminate personal freedoms, or accepting huge increases in suicides, mental illnesses, and drug overdoses as measures to bring those traffic deaths down.
Why did you do that?
Watch out for the second shot. It can be a doozy.
Plan it for a day after which you have nothing to do for a while. (Not trying to scare you - it’s just what might happen for a day, maybe two - mild fever and muscle aches.)

Because I only got the shot to cross my ‘t’s’ for the inevitable mandate of the vaccine. I didn’t get it because I’m convinced about covid or that I am at risk from the vaccine. I didn’t want to spend even a second longer pleasing the liberal crowd.
