I’m still trying to figure out why, after you visit the eye doctor, and they put the drops in your eyes to dilate your pupils, and you can’t see shit, but they let you get in your car and drive yourself home. I hate it, because it takes the rest of the day to wear off. I can’t read, watch TV, or do anything productive.
There is an alternative to that now - a scanner.
I remember one time prior to this option the office I visited said that their version of the dilation was so mild, that they did not provide the plastic sunglasses and it would be safe to drive home. I didn’t think I would make it home alive and stopped somewhere to eat as soon as I could to let it wear off a little.
Just smoke some pot and watch Yellow Submarine.
That’s because they figure that, even blinded, you’re no less competent to drive than most of the other distracted boobs out there.
Mine requires I have someone else with me to drive me home.
