I kept my answer to all, "no's, regardless of what the questions were. She then wanted to give me Pfeizer, which I told her that was not going to happen. I choser Moderna, as I've read it is the least problematic.
Once I got the vaccine, I got and left immediately, despite being advised to sit for 15 minutes.
> Still no superpowers.
From what I’ve seen one of the major superpowers is the ability to be condescending to people that don’t want the “jab”.
Also it seems most superheroes wear masks.

Before I could have a gastroscopy and colonoscopy the end of June, the doctor's office said I had to have a Covid test, so they scheduled me for a Saturday morning. A couple of days before, the office called me again to tell me if I'd had the vaccine, I didn't need to be tested. I asked her why that was since it's a known fact that vaccinated people can still get the virus, die from it, and pass it on to others. There's was a long silence on the line, and then she said: "I don't make the rules. We're following CDC guidelines."
Yeah, following guidelines of people who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.
God bless you and your family!!
Yes!
The thing that makes me crazy is this “one size fits all” approach to this, shutting everything down and so on.
I have said from day one that people who need to be protected, the sick, the elderly, people who are immunocompromised, and those who don’t feel safe, should...be protected! Especially those who cannot protect themselves.
And people who don’t need to be protected, young, healthy people like those in the military...they should live their lives and go to work and school. If they get Covid, so what?
I went up to Maine on vacation a year ago last August, and up in northern Maine where it is sparsely populated, people didn’t care. You want to wear a mask? No big deal. You don’t? Fine.
I live in the bluest of blue states, so...that was wonderful.
Of course, when I came further south into gentrified blue collar towns like Belfast, Maine which is extremely Leftist now (it wasn’t always) there were a plethora of “In this house” and Black Lives Matter signs, and I got verbally accosted for not wearing a mask ouside, sitting in a chair on the grass 20 feet from a walking trail near the ocean.
Anyway...you get what I mean!
That is the whole thing that makes people dig in their heels-the absolute inconsistency and lack of common sense.
As a young kid, when you asked a reasonable question and got a response like “You have to do it because I say you have to” it sure would make you dig in your heels and question the entire thing.
My wife being a fearful anxious critter and despite having the natural antibodies at a very high multiple was feeling a bit of heat from work and got Pfizer first shit Sunday aft at cvs
Aside from a slight headache last night she claims no side effects so far...
I tried to dissuade her
Our middle boy is at Fort Benning and was required last week
My oldest daughter got it last month but her husband like us refuses
He like us has natural immunity....something big state and media and tech and science wish to discredit
Bullshit
Man made vax ....especially these...donât beat Gods antibodies
Sorry
Made me laugh
Fentanyl is a wonder drug when administered properly
Arguably strongest pain killer available per weight
Why
You already had more antibodies than any vax will provide
Thank you !
Youre a fourteen years younger rib?
Dayum girl!
“I hear tell the Moderna vax causes âmale enhancementâ over the long term.”
I haven’t been able to roll over in bed for months...”
Thank you. My wife was a month before death when we got the call to drive 250 miles to the transplant hospital at 3 am. Lucky I have fast car, brook a few laws on the drive. Wife didnât mind my driving this time. We actually beat the transplant crew at the hospital. They were shocked we beat them.
I know the Meds are rough and constant for life with a foreign organ in your body.
Again, may God bless you and your family.
That's forbidden.
Regards,
LOL.... The pain I felt in my arm after the first two shots was just the spike protein latching on to, and holding on to my job. By my 4th booster, I built up a resistance to the pain, and while the spike protein may have moved to my heart, or some other vital organ, it’s still currently protecting me from unemployment. Hopefully, that will continue with further boosters, and my employment vaccine antibodies will remain sufficient.
I understand your point, but, to play Devil’s advocate, let’s do a comparison:
On average the last few years we’ve had 38,000 fatalities from auto accidents in the US. These numbers essentially are from the same gov’t compiling Covid fatalities. Even if Covid fatalities are off by, say, 30%, we are still talking about nearly an order of magnitude more Covid fatalities than auto fatalities.
Driving a car is HIGHLY regulated. Serious violations can result in loss of driving privileges, very high fines, and prison time. If you go to traffic court, it’s almost unbelievable how many people are in there. (My wife and I went there recently to get an incorrectly issued ticket to her nullified - it was.) Incredible monies are spent making highways safer, and cars safer. Honda looked at reintroducing their super efficient CRX and even with ~30 year’s improved tech, it was not feasible to get the mpg without this “budget” car costing over $50k, mainly due to safety constraints (gov’t requirements). Expensive insurance is required. Manufacturers are forced to alter their offerings to meet gov’t whim. Consumer choice is similarly severely restricted. And so on.
Do I agree with all that? Heck, no. At least some parts of cost, and freedom & choice restrictions regarding auto usage, I strongly disagree with. But given that the vast majority of the population accept all the above with respect to their cars, and given vastly greater Covid fatalities (data accepted by probably 95% of the population), are the Covid policies’ inroads on freedom, and damages done, any surprise?
Still (I’ll stop playing “advocate”)... Even if we say Covid’s direct negative health impacts are 10x those of automobiles’ direct negative health impacts, this Covid thing (trying to slow it down) was done all wrong. I think incompetence, lust for power, and lust for money, are all involved. Maybe that’s 50% / 25% / 25%, maybe it’s some other ratio. (I find it REALLY hard to get below 40% on the incompetence portion.) Regardless, it is a sad comment on our “civilization” and intelligence as a society.
Deaths involving other synthetic opioids other than methadone (primarily fentanyl) continued to rise with more than 36,359 overdose deaths reported in 2019.

They only tell you to wait 15 minutes, just in case you pass out.
Some people pass out after a vaccine, whether they’re vaccinated for Covid or something else.
Possibly someone left and cracked up their car. I don’t know. I do know the drops affected my Mom’s vision very severely - much worse than me.
Heck, when my Dad was in boot camp (Korean War bound), the big tough dude in front of him passed out when he saw the needle. I’m almost convinced 25% of FReepers would too.
