You I’m sure are aware Pfizer could have made tracking post vaccination adverse effects part of the emergency authorization request, but didn’t. You would think that they would want to accumulate data on such a new drug… if they were interested in scientific discovery.

What somehow got missed in this sorry thread is that this young man, Caleb Wallace, appears to have been a very solid conservative. And he didn’t confine his efforts to typing foolish and ill-tempered things on the internet.
He was out in the world acting on his principles. He was a coordinator for the West Texas Minutemen, an RKBA and prepping group. On his own initiative he organized a group in his town to push back against the mask mandates. And appears to have been active in his church and community in general.
By all accounts, a fine fellow. I made an anonymous donation to the gofundme. We need more young people like him, he will surely be missed.
This was tragic but entirely preventable if people would open their mind and examine the probable and possible outcomes of both the vax and unvaxxed tribes
have you asked your doctor friends what treatment you should have when you get covid, what treatment or medication they would prescribe for you?? if not i suggest you ask them asap

The original piece that was posted is a disgusting and heartless MSM smear mocking Caleb because of his politics, which appear to be driven by basic conservatism. So, not a great way for a thread to start out.
But the bickering on this thread isn’t any better if one remembers that a young man is dead, three children (and soon to be four) no longer have a father.
Somehow people insist on drawing a line in the sand, and you’re either “for them” or “against them” based on one’s personal choice regarding the vax. It’s impossible to say “look, I’m firmly opposed to any mandates, but personally, I took the jab, and am glad of it”. That makes you a “branch covidian”. And worse, if you don’t buy into the nuttier conspiracy themes, now you’re a shill for the pharmaceutical industry. It just devolves into name calling every time.
And don’t get me started on the therapeutics vs. vaccination schtick. Frankly, in my admittedly non-expert opinion, it’s glaringly obvious that we need both. The increasing availability of the monoclonals is a wonderful thing. But if one can’t get that, the FLCCC ivermectin/fluvoxamine combo is better than nothing. They don’t compete.
Back when my job required that I carry a gun, I kept a six-shot revolver as a backup in my pocket. They didn’t compete with each other. Same principle applies, as far as I can see with this whole debate.
America is full of elderly, sick and obese people. Prime targets for the bioweapon. Lose weight, don't smoke and exercise. Winter will bring more casualties, it always does. That is the nature of this virus.

I was jabbed in March 2021. No proof to anything you ask so I’ll simply chalk it up to my kookery and crackpotism. If I get Covid? I’ll see my doctor , first time I had it , it was the sniffles.

My take on your comment was correct. You expressed contempt for those that have issues with the vax.
Articles like these are often posted for that purpose — to ridicule and condemn. The content of the article is merely the backdrop. The OP’s pity is disingenuous.
But who’s the dumbest of them all? Wow. Do you think if this poor guy was given a do-over, another chance, he would still be anti-vax? I’ll bet not. I feel so bad for him and his family that he will not be given another chance..
