If a Black Hole disappears, what does it disappear in to?........................
Because they say so. There is physics which deals with the real observable universe. Then there’s the mathematical physics which is sometimes applicable and useful and sometimes just pointless rabbit-hole exercises.
Which means I'm in a fully entropic state. I'm totally ignorant of the affairs of state in the black hole interior.
A LOT of gamma rays.
Are they saying black ho’s matter?🤔
We still think of space as linear - it sure seems to be - but it is curved and at a black hole, extremely, giving the illusion of blackness.
We also tend to not allow for time dilation - remember, gravity is a function of time and not a real force.
Hard to get the monkey brain up to God speed.
One of the things I like about her aporoach is she’s looking past Hawking and finding areas he was wrong. That’s the impression I get when I read Hawking, that he’s just plain wrong sometimes. He’s too quick to blithely dismiss info or handwave away critical items.
“I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone NOT call it ‘The Little Prince’. This overly correct use of the original French title seems to sum up Cambridge, MA for me.”
Or those who took a lot of French.
I never read it in English. I went to an ordinary public junior and took French, where we first read excerpts. I went to a decent Catholic high school, where I continued with my French classes, and we read the whole thing. I went to a middling university, where, again, they had a language requirement, and my previous French tested me into the upper level of the requirement, and this was a book, it was assumed, with which we all had familiarity. In French. For years, I had my old high school-issued copy of it in my personal library.
In English, it’s a bit foreign to me.
I’m getting to be an old fart, I know, but I grew up in a time when it was not at all unusual to have decent command of at least one other language, and to have been introduced to the literature arising from it.
This is worth re-reading
No one ever averred that they were. Rather, the apparent conundrum was about the informational content of that energy, which should not decrease, but which seemingly would.
Regards,
Occam’s razor just causes a lot of paper cuts if the scientists are totally clueless on a topic.
Good question...I am challenged in the art of abstract thinking. And since I would not be able to observe “Shady the Cat” pass over those damned “horizons” smart people associate with black holes, I’ll never know.
Good.
Because I haven’t read it the first time.................
Im still trying to figure out how a themos works How does it know ?
Well, it is hard to get my brain up to speed. Time seemed to stand still, for me, when I once fell onto concrete from a ladder. Like Einstein said, I think, it’s all relative.
Only “Climate Science” is settled.
Yes indeed...
This is such a case...
I'm going to tune my radio. with the appropriate background noise filter, and listen to what the poor dead guy in the wheelchair has to say about this...
Then I'll decide whether this is just the latest "string theory", "super-string theory", the multiverse, or black holes as holographic entities...
I wonder what they talk about in the bowling alley on Friday nights?
Excluding your criticism of him being an Atheist, I think he was a hell of a lot smarter then you..........
