“People just don’t want to comply, and I don’t think they will comply,” he says, looking at the problem from a big-picture sense. “COVID is going to go on for quite some time.”

I had a favorite restaurant in Idaho Falls. I was always seated quickly, menus/silverware dropped, drink orders taken in the first 2 minutes. Meal orders taken within 5 minutes and on my table in 12 minutes tops. Drinks refilled and dirty dishes cleared. Bill promptly provided and processed. Usually 40 minutes end to end.
The favorite restaurant is no longer being patronized. Last trip it was 10 minutes to get seated. 35 minutes to get menus and drinks ordered. 15 minutes for drinks to arrive and food orders taken. 35 minutes to see the food delivered. It was necessary to escort the "server" to the cash register to pay the damn bill after 40 minutes of being ignored. Never again!
Something is going on.
Where I work is an island of sanity. We have a ‘mask mandate’ outside our offices - and nobody cares. Wear a mask or don’t - no one cares. Get the notavax or don’t.
The only people really in danger from the Chicom Flu are the elderly and the sick. And, if certain dark predictions come true, the jabbed.
At least nobody can ever again claim that advertising doesn’t work...
Now THAT IS Virtue Signaling!
The stupid really burns with this dude...
“The Stupid Cow” cafe.
Alternate name: “The View” cafe
What a loser. Why would anyone want to eat there?
Colds are Coronas
The Fall Flu is a Corona? It’s a virus.
COVID-19 is caused by infection with a coronavirus first identified in 2019, and flu is caused by infection with influenza viruses.
Our favorite local cafe, The Blue Plate Cafe, in Hayden is the exact opposite. Everybody is on a first name basis. The same people are there and are busting their butts. Tables are cleared and sanitized quickly, people move in and out quickly. The cook is so fast that you barely have time to open your newspaper and toss the ads out before the foot arrives piping hot. The place is always full.
Thank God that there is one place that seems stable and is weathering this crap.
LOL!!!! fh
The feel good story of the day.
OK, thanks.
You should complain / leave a bad review. People can change their mind, and if the owners don’t, then people who see your review can help them go out of business by not going there.
Complaining may not be permitted.
Example:
An elementary/h.s. school mandated “jabs”.
I wrote a mixed review (good school with bad policy) on Yelp.
In less than an hour, Yelp monitors erased my review.
I’ve written both positive and negative reviews on Yelp in the past. None deleted. Until this one where I criticized a new school policy to force jabs with the EUA covid stuff.
A small diner near my mother in Law in Michigan opened just before the Kung Flu and flat out refused to close when the Governess shut down commerce. They also ignored all mandates. (The Sheriff follows the Constitution, not the Governess)
The place absolutely boomed and still booms. She and her old folk friends meet there for cards one or two days a week between the breakfast and lunch rush.
Yeah, I’m pissed too. The best mom and pop diner for 10 miles around used to have lines out the door waiting for a seat at supper. Because no one wants to work they had to cut out the evening meal and close at 3:00pm.
And the fast food places out at the Interstate exit close at 6:30pm.
I would require proof of non-vaccination to stop the vaccinated super spreaders.
Went to a restaurant yesterday with my wife and adult daughter. Sign said you must enter wearing a mask. So we entered without any and had a lovely dinner (where of course not a single diner was wearing a mask).
The owner only wants sheep for dinner.
