I’d like to say more about your comment. I won’t. But over 2400 Americans died. They paid that debt.
There weren’t all that many interpreters in the grand scheme of things. Quite a few were tossed from the program for being sympathetic to the bad guys.
And the number wasn’t anywhere near 60,000.
And of them, it’s not like they speak English like you and me. Broken T best for most of them. Just enough to tell some grunt from the 82nd who the bad guys were and where they were.
I understand there was nowhere near 60,000 of them, but there are some really good guys and a lot of our guys have been working for months trying to get their visas but the Biden SOS drug his feet. Those are the people who need to be here, not some translators who worked for CNN or was a secretary in the embassy.
