Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) said Afghans being evacuated from Afghanistan and resettled in the United States by President Joe Biden’s administration are “welcome” in his neighborhood.
During an interview with Fox News Channel’s Chris Wallace, Sasse said American citizens have an obligation to bring anywhere from 60,000 to 80,000 Afghans to the U.S. for permanent resettlement.

Afghan refugees in general, do not have a good reputation.
That is not to say there are no good ones, because there are. I met a few Afghans years ago. This particular family , ready to learn the language and the culture. The family was full of reliable, hard workers.
I never worried about the communists trying to take over the US.
The communists said that they needed 3% of the population to be communist throat cutters in order to take over a country.
That would be about 10 million people and they’d never find that many throat cutters at American universities.
