I'll never understand the mentality of any health care provider to be reluctant to alleviate pain through the use of medication. Not every person on Earth becomes an addict and it's insulting to even insinuate that. And there's nothing noble in being in pain as the result of a medical condition because some do-gooding virtue signaling clown somewhere wants to pat themselves on the back for ''caring''.
