And where mining for battery raw materials isn’t an environmental catastrophe.
Not all young people are brainwashed by the Dims. And as the impact of the disaster of Afghanistan (as well as the debacle with electric cars) sinks in, many more may come to their senses!!!!
Hopeful. I’ll keep a slender opening in my pessimism. Thanks.
10 Bolt Blazes caught fire - so time to recall them. Hmm.
Questions:
1. How many people died?
2. What if we had this same level of concern (doing recalls) about adverse reactions to the covid vaccines?
Was not Bidet pushing electric vehicles just a few weeks ago? This guy has the reverse Midas touch.
Well GM doesn’t have the nickname Government Motors for nothing.
Both incompetent.
No need to replace components. Just add a disconnect switch. Hillary’s reset button would probably work.
Wow, I didn’t remember this incident. The only Ford I ever owned was a 1974 Mustang II... that was enough for me!
When Cuba starts using these, we’ll know they’re worth owning.
So these electric vehicles are all just fine as long as you don’t charge the battery.
I’m sure the disposal of the old batteries will be environmentally helpful.
I own a 2020 Chevy Bolt. By the way, it is not a Volt - that was a hybrid that they don’t make anymore.
I love my Bolt. I have gone on several long (over 1000 mile) trips with it and enjoyed the fast charging stations located strategically - usually at Walmart stores all over the nation. I get around 300 miles per charge. The battery degradation after 100,000 miles is around 6% on the 2017 model (better than Tesla). I love the guiet ride and the low maintenance and the fun of driving past the gas stations.
No, I don’t think that I am saving the planet and yes, a long trip takes a little longer.
So, I guess I will take it out of my garage and look forward to a new battery.
Better hope that fire extinguisher has 28,000 gallons of water in it......
Don’t be fooled by fossil fuel propagandists. Your Chevy Bolt is completely safe.

As long as you don’t charge it.
Don’t leave your favorite coffee mug behind either.
Stupid should hurt.
My neighbor across the street has one. It’s always charged in the driveway.
the volt is hybrid..
it won’t leave ya stranded..
the bolt is full electric.. it WILL leave ya stranded and a bit overcooked from the sounds of it.
Give them their money back....double.
I hope they go belly up at this point. When they stop making gas cars they will cease to have any value at all.
