That said - going back afterwards was wrong as was not calling the police.
But it intrigues me that this might not have been a robbery per se but a gang hit…?

I saw a beaut the other day, a guy getting robbed by two thugs, just pure genius how he handled it. As soon as they walked in and pointed the gun he immediately handed them his backpack and got on his knees and put his hands up. He immediately posed himself an a non-threat. Fatal misjudgement for them, as soon as they turned their heads he pulls out his piece and shot them point blank. One thug managed to run out but the other went right down dead.

They couldn’t charge him with murder because the medical examiner said the first shots against the perp, which were justified, had already killed him.
So how can you get charged with “aggravated battery” for shooting a corpse? They could have charged him with unlawful discharge, or desecrating a corpse, but battery can only be committed against a living person, so I expect he will get off for this if he gets a decent lawyer.

He’s being prosecuted for aggravated battery, since the initially fired bullets, shot in self-defense, killed the thug.
But, you can’t return to the scene aND pump 10 more rounds into the thug. He must pay a price.
