Nobody is banning masks, they are banning mask mandates. Whether a child wears a mask in the decision of that child’s parents.

The issue is mandates. Anyone can wear a mask, if they choose to. There cannot be a right to force someone to do something.

Biden is really going after the states. He should be careful about this, because any respect that anybody may have had for him as President is now completely gone and the states are going to start fighting back more aggressively.
Not that he cares.
