The voting public generally has the memory and attention span of fruit flies. A few weeks is an eternity politically. That’s not even considering the dumbest voters who supposedly decide all elections, the supposed 10% of voters who are swing voters.

While I don’t think the Dems legitimately won last time around, and will repeat this successful technique, what is even scarier is the possibility that enough people voted for the Dems to make this even feasible.
