(sigh) because it takes a majority vote in the House to impeach someone. Republicans do not have a majority. And they are too timid to do it anyway. Any questions?
You’re wasting time.
And then what are we left with????????
Because 1) an impeachment must be brought by the House of Representatives, 2) the House is controlled by a Democrat majority led by Nancy Pelosi, and 3) there is no way on earth Pelosi would ever give that kind of political victory to the GOP.
Marjorie Taylor Greene filed paperwork Jan. 21. Not sure what happen with those.
She’s working on another filing.
They tried to impeach DJT or totally made up stuff and yet the GOP sits by and won’t raise a ruckus over this debacle??
Kamala Harris, the insurance policy. That’s why.
“Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
Because then we get the whore from Bangalore.
Both impeachments led to no convictions in the Senate, because Republicans held the majority in the Senate.
Articles can be submitted see what Al Green did to Trump but it would be interesting to see just how many GOP caucus members would vote for his impeachment this early in his presidency
Joe Biden willfully committed a clear impeachable offense when he defied the Supreme Court in extending the eviction moratorium. He even knew that what he was doing was unconstitutional. He said as much. Yet he did it anyways! This was a flagrant violation of his oath of office where he swears to uphold the Constitution.
He handed the GOP a reason to impeach him on a silver platter.
But they've done nothing!
Yes, I know it'll never happen but they could at least bring it up and put the Democrats on the defensive, forcing them to concede that it's actually OK to violate the law if you don't like what the courts say.
Surely, there's some Republican governors who would appreciate the precedent that President Biden established in thumbing his nose at judicial rulings.
When was the last time you saw Republicans in the Capital rotunda standing shoulder-to-shoulder demanding anything?
Simple. “Republicans” run on getting a Democrat out of office, and nothing more. They had a winner in Reagan, and despised him for really fixing things, same with Trump.
All the comments about democrats controlling the house are correct, but the truth is, republicans are anitomically incapable of such action. Unfortunately, Republicans in elected office are invertebrates, unable to stand without the mainstream media propping them up, they think. So even if they were to win back one or both houses of Congress, it isn’t likely we will see any push back.
>>Why don’t the Republicans impeach Joe Biden?<<
Will you loan them your spine?
There is no way to extricate this country from its own corruption and degradation using normal processes of government.
Even if they could get Biden nailed down on things he’s done not in the best interest of the country, he has an instant and provable defense, he just barely has enough electricity firing in his head to keep his arms and legs moving. Independent thought is a pipe dream. Then you get horizontal Harris to run the country. As bad as Biden is, that’s a step down.

Because the Republicans don’t control the House and therefore can’t impeach. If somehow the House did impeach, a conviction would not happen in the Senate because the Republicans do not have a majority there either let alone the 2/3 it takes to convict. Finally, no one (not the least the Democrats) wants Harris to be president.
Every president since Reagan has faced impeachment resolutions in Congress.
Voters get annoyed by impeachment talk. It looks more like theater than anything real.
