Wanted to leave a quick review of Daniel Silva's latest The Cellist. It is about one half good, his typical Gabriel Allon spy mission, but the rest is absolute dreck. It pillories President Trump, and elevates and idolizes Joe Biden. For a topper, it has a crazed Republican Congresswoman attempt to assassinate Allon at the direction of QAnon. I recommend giving it a pass.

Yoyo Ma goes undercover?
In a few months, we’ll see stories about how Silva is trying to figure out how to get his career back on track.
I mean... who really reads spy novels? I’d be willing to bet it ain’t ‘pajama boys’.
I put it down half way through. It’s rare for me not to finish a book. Wish I hadn’t pre-ordered. Should have waited for the reviews. Back to reading Brad Thor.

Honestly? I never got that far 😀.
Unfortunately I read most of before putting it down. Silva has destroyed his career. I’ve got to believe most of his readers are done with him.
Meanwhile real Republican Congressmen just take their beatings like Charles Sumner.
I was once a big Silva fan.....
......he stopped writing
...and started revealing himself
I wouldn’t read his books if you paid me
Same with Brad Thor
Brad Thor?....the Brad Thor who wanted to kill President Trump
A concurring review posted from American Thinker: https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3982891/posts
they are both off my reading list
I didn’t know Thor wanted to kill Trump. Is there any authors that are worth reading?
I recall some years ago listening to Brad Thor on a Hugh Hewitt radio show, voicing his distain for Pres Trump. I stopped reading his books then. I am now doing the same with Silva and his latest book. I sent it back. I do not want to read CCN in print.

I really like his books, thanks i will pass then. Too bad Silva has gone completely Woke.
I think he might have scrubbed his Twitter timeline of his nonstop hate-Trump tweets from 2017 to get his book sales back on track.
I love spy novels and shows, if they ate done right.
>>>Is there any authors that are worth reading?<<<
Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, Isiah, Daniel, Moses et all come to mind as pretty good authors/amanuensis.
I wonder if that’s the book my accountant was talking about. She told me that her second favorite author suddenly went woke.
Lefter and lefter. He’s a convert to Judaism, and his wife works for CNN. So is it any surprise?
That said, I’m not buying his latest. His most recent were progressively more and more ant-Israel and pro-left.. Forget this one. Too bad, he was a good writer. But I guess he has enough money now not to care. Leftists are always like that.

I highly recommend this book:
https://www.amazon.com/Collateral-Crimes-Jeffrey-Yochim/dp/0997539518
(And there is a sequel in the works that should be out by the end of the year.)
Here’s what Marshall Trimble, Arizona State Historian, had to say:
Collateral Crimes is the best crime thriller I’ve read in years. It’s a riveting, fast-moving, well-crafted page turner that had me hooked from the beginning.
