For me it is not a matter of if but when we will again see blindfolded Americans paraded before international cameras again, but unlike the Iranian (who actually seem sane compared to the Taliban) I expect to see the Taliban cutting throats on live TV.
I know some of you will say, "Come on True some of this is kinda far fetched, but didn't the Obama Administration drop millions on dollars in the dead of night on the Mullahs in Iran and Biden was part of that cabal?" Remember all those same clowns are back with Sleepy Joe now!

When I heard 30/50 miles a few days ago, I thought, I hope they’re on foot. But I doubt they are. Maybe waiting for more taliban to show up before taking Kabul?

“rump’s plan called for a phased withdrawal of Troops as long as certain conditions were met which included the Taliban laying down their arms and taking part in a unity government.”
Dumbest and most ignorant thing. Islam is never going to lay down their arms. If they do, it is only temporary to fool the fools who think they have defeated Islam.

It may come to helicopters hovering above the American embassy in Kabul to evacuate embassy personnel.
If that happens, you can bet that the mainstream mediocres will not broadcast the videos or discuss it as it will bring back images of 1975 and the fall of Saigon. And history will blame Biden for this disaster.

State Dept has said they might need to move Embassy operations to the airport, so if not already gone, within a few days.

Sadly, I do not think what you have written here is that far fetched.

The is no judge to end the taliban eviction. The taliban will allow the U.S. Embassy to evac, and it will be under the most humiliating terms. The us personnel will basically be flanked on either side on the main road to the airport, while they shuttle back and forth on the way out.

It would be fun to rake the area with AC-130 and apache gunship fire for effect. And then a couple of tactical nukes on the way out. But with these Keystone cops in charge it ain’t gonna happen.

The embassy is lost. It is only a matter of time. What we have now is cover for a mass Muslim migration to America. Just last Thursday, 1,200 Afghani Muslims were evacuated (immigrated) to Ft. Lee, VA. The planning for this has been going on for months. Those 1,200 Afghani Muslims could have been 1,200 Americans, if there are even 1,200 American civilians in Afghanistan. The drawdown on American embassy staff occurred in April. Biden is sending our troops in harms way to provide for a mass Muslim immigration to America. The American embassy staff could have already safely left and all records and documents at the embassy destroyed. They spent months planning for a Muslim immigration, including transportation, housing, food, clothing and health care. They certainly could have pulled Americans out of Afghanistan instead.
We owe Afghanistan nothing, zero, nada. We have spilled our blood and spent our treasure. We have trained and armed the Afghan Army. It is time that they stand for their own freedom and we get out of Dodge. There is absolutely nothing of value in Afghanistan, and we certainly do not want people immigrating to America from such a hellhole. They have nothing in common with us and will never be Americans.

The only Afghanis that deserve to come here are those that helped us, interpreters and other personnel that worked with our military.
They will be executed by the Taliban unless we bring them out.
To: Theoria
I am not sure what the Taliban will do, and whether they even have the discipline to control their own forces...
The “experts” will be lucky if this does not end in head-chopping and rapes.

It was amazingly stupid to close Bagram Air Force base before leaving. It was almost amazingly ignorant to trust the Taliban.
I lived in Kabul almost 6 years and met President Ghani when he was Minister of Finance and later when Kabul University President. Sad to see the waste of resources, lives, trust, and effort.

To: Trueblackman; All
Trump’s plan had Trump as the President and that’s the big difference. Everyone thinks you can just replace him and keep his policies (DeSantis fans). That’s not how it works. Trump’s policies work and are implementable in no small part, because of Trump.
