There were also many more who worked for US-funded development projects. Even 15 years ago I had a staff member in Kandahar get a “night letter.” We reassigned him to Kabul.

They can join their Afghan Army and fight. If they flee they are cowards. My SIL's (deployed to Kabul Thursday night) life should not be put in harms way for a bunch of coward Muslims. We spent $88 Billion on training and arming them. Now they won't fight. Tough crap. No a single American life is worth putting on the line for pedophile worshiping POSs.

Afghanistan was a respectable country while it was a kingdom and pre-taliban in 1973. I had a Royal Afghan Air Force officer foreign exchange classmate in communications/electronics school during 1963/1964 and he was as decent and fine a chap as I've ever met!
