Candace Owens wants you to know she’s “proud” to not be vaccinated against COVID-19.
The New York Times bestselling author says she “trusts her gut” more than she does infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci.
“I still have not received the COVID-19 vaccine and have not demanded that any of my employees get it either. I am proud that I committed myself to standing firm against the bribery, media propaganda, coercion, celebrity-peer pressure campaign, plus censorship. I made a personal decision for me and my family,” Owens wrote in a Facebook post Sunday.
“It is isn’t easy to swim against such a polluted current but here I am. I trust my gut much more than trust Dr. Fauci. May we all do what we feel in our hearts is right, unabashedly,”

then “reduces severity of symptoms and spread… some”
then “reduces severe cases but not spread, so wear mask again!”

I don’t think vaccination status is anything to be proud of either way. Make the beet decision you can and move on. It’s not like you are proud of choosing a chocolate or vanilla ice cream cone either.
People are saying the COVID goalposts keep moving. But at this point, I don't see goalposts anywhere.
When the vaccines were first being dispensed, I said I wouldn’t get the shot because they didn’t even have an accurate test for the virus. Now it’s been reported what we’ve known all along, that the PCR tests can’t determine between the flu and Covid, but despite that fact, the CDC will continue to use the PCR test until December 31st of this year. The CDC has proven that they not only don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground, and that they will lie through their teeth to get the end result they want, but yet, they want me to trust them when it comes to injecting experimental drugs in my body? No thanks! I might have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night.
I like a lot about Candace (not all), but this is not the best issue to use as a Soapbox. Don’t let this issue define you.
God forbid that she does catch the virus, the crowing and gloating and schadenfreude of the left will be deafening.
That COVID is not something fully under anyone’s control.
The middle ground is the belief that this virus will be with us in some form for a long time. She could focus on ways to encourage a less hysterical, less invasive way to deal with it, vs what many are proposing. No need to keep shutting down the economy. No need to shut off all social contact.

A full 72 percent of young, black New Yorkers are about to be denied service and the right to work in New York City restaurants, gyms, and theaters.
The far-left New York Times reported Thursday only 28 percent of black New Yorkers aged 18 to 44 years are vaccinated, “compared with 48 percent of Latino residents and 52 percent of white residents in that age group.”
And they won’t only be denied service; they will also be denied the right to work at these establishments.
Why would anyone trust the institutions that told us Trump could never win, Brexit could never happen, riots are “mostly peaceful,” Andrew Cuomo epitomizes leadership, men can magically transform into women, Hunter Biden’s laptop is Russian disinformation, Trump voters spread COVID, and illegal aliens don’t, the coronavirus came from a bat and definitely not a lab, killer Hurricanes are on the way, we’ve seen the last of snow, and Trump supporters killed a police officer with a fire extinguisher?

I wouldn’t go that far.
I would just say “I’m happy to serve as part of a control group for this experimental genetic therapy.”

So what if she did get it? You say this like it's a death sentence. Does the virus not have a 98.5 percent survival rate?

I have known vaccines do not stop infections for 70 years. I had smallpox vaccine in 1946, got infected from a large load of virus in 1949. The vaccine failed to build a glass cover around my body! I had severe symptoms with 102+ fevers for a week and pox broke out all over my 9 year old body.
But the anti-bodies created by the vaccine saved my life from a disease which has 30%+ mortality rate.
As for covid vaccines, it is same. No way in hell you can stop from breathing in virus floating in air near you. You will inhale it and depending on status of your immune system, you may not have any symptoms, or you may have mild symptoms. But because of the anti-bodies present in body chances are you will kill the virus before you end up in isolation ward of hospital connected to a ventilator.
