A lot of Freepers opted out of FR because of Jim Robinson’s warning that his site was under surveilance by the federal government, namely the FBI and the NSC.
There was a caution posted about this many years ago, and a lot of Freepers opted out, many who were military and federal employees with security clearances to maintain.

Not every departed Freeper is on the Memorial Wall, unless Jim is notified, (I believe) - and you have to scroll through many pages to find the most recent.
I have been asking about Onyx, who has not posted anything since Oct.2020.
Expect many of us are in our 70’s or older.
