All I’ve seen, from W Bush, is that he didn’t think we should’ve withdrawn.

As I mentioned a while ago, Why didn’t we take or at least set up mining operations in Afghanistan if they have $1T worth of minerals? We had 20 years to mine the minerals.

Our 1st priority must be to secure the safety of Americans still in Afghanistan.
Then, Congress must demand a thorough accounting both of what is happening & why Biden-Harris officials have been consistently issuing assessments that were at best, misleading, and at worst, false.
Either there was a collapse of American intelligence collecting in the region, Pres. Biden was deliberately misled by his national security team, or he knowingly issued statements he knew to be false.
The American people deserve to know the truth & hold our leaders accountable.

“I have long called for a deliberative, planned, vetted, and secure withdrawal from Afghanistan while maintaining maximum leverage. Wars should have ends. That is the opposite of what President Biden has pursued.
“The Trump administration spent years negotiating an orderly withdrawal on a fixed timetable with extensive support from regional actors. President Biden tore up that approach, as he did with so many of the national security victories from the Trump era: halting Putin’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, achieving the Abraham Accords, imposing maximum pressure on Iran, cutting off Palestinian terrorists, working with partners throughout the Western Hemisphere to contain illegal immigration, and the list goes on and on.
“In Afghanistan, President Biden said he was putting his âtrust’ in âthe capacity of the Afghan military,’ and the result has been, again, an embarrassing spectacle, a diplomatic humiliation, and a national security catastrophe.”
Biden is going to blame Trump for starting the withdrawal. If Biden knew it was going to fail & Trump was wrong, then why did he continue on with it? Why didn’t he reverse course & keep us there for another 20 years?
Temperature is dropping. Today forecast is 98* The rest of the week is around the middle 80’s the back to 90* next Monday.
My garden isn’t doing very good. A green pepper set on then turned brown on the top. Zuchinni same thing. Set on then rot. No sign of cucumbers. I have a few cherry tomatoes setting on now.
