The population of Washington state grew to 7614893 from 6724540 in the decade between the 2010 census and the 2020 census, ...

That’s 890,353 more and I am afraid they are ALL ending up on this side of the state (Eastern) and are turning it liberal. It has always been conservative. :-(

Which reminds me. My county, Franklin County, is the ONLY county in the state that used the Dominion voting machines. The count was STILL conservative but I think that count is shrinking to more liberals. I need to look back and see.

Unreal what we’re witnessing.

Are there peaceful protests taking place, in LA, since this tyrannical order?

Are there civil rights *leaders* stepping up to fight this?

🙃

OMG! This will hurt minorities the most. I’ve seen videos of mobs of “teens” going into stores and robbing them. I guess they can do that in grocery stores too.

Yeah I also wonder about all the people moving here. Not from 2010 to 2020, but recently. We will see how the voting goes.

I don’t know what the answer is or where all this will end but I do know that there our factions of our society that do not want some of us to have freedom of choice, to be able to make our own decisions and live our life as we deem fit.

Governor Abbott, DSHS, TDEM Launch Additional COVID-19 Antibody Infusion Centers Throughout Texas

August 13, 2021 | Austin, Texas | Press Release

Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) are launching nine COVID-19 antibody infusion centers throughout the state. The first infusion center, located in San Antonio, has served over 100 Texans since opening on Tuesday. Additionally, an infusion center in Corpus Christi began operations this morning at the RMB Fairgrounds. An infusion center in Austin will launch Monday at the Travis County Expo Center, and DSHS is currently working with local officials to launch similar operations in Conroe, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Laredo in the coming days.

TDEM will also launch a regional infusion center for the Rio Grande Valley tomorrow, August 14, in Harlingen. This past week, TDEM expanded operations at the existing regional infusion center in Lubbock. More infusion centers will be launched throughout the state as additional needs are identified based on factors such as COVID-19 case data and existing resources.

“Antibody infusion centers play an integral role in our efforts to combat COVID-19 because they help prevent hospitalizations and ensure that resources are available to treat the most severe cases of this virus,” said Governor Abbott. “Thank you to our local partners for working with the State of Texas to launch these centers across Texas. We will continue to work with local leaders to ensure our communities have the support they need to keep Texans safe and healthy.”

These infusion centers, equipped with Regeneron’s monoclonal antibodies, will treat COVID-19 patients who do not need hospitalization with therapeutic drugs that can prevent their condition from worsening and requiring hospital care. These centers also help increase bed capacity in hospitals so that resources are available for the most ill patients. The State deployed similar measures in early 2021 to communities across Texas. Patients must meet certain criteria and have a referral from a doctor.

What/Where did you watch it? I would love to see Northern Exposure again. In my book that was one of the best TV shows EVER.

My granddaughter got tested and was negative, thank goodness. Earlier my son said he was vaccinated so he wasn’t too worried about it, and I told him it hasn’t been working. He said that if you get sick it’s with mild symptoms, and I told him about 25% of deaths in our town have been vaccinated.

Only 28% of black Americans 18-44 years old are vaccinated in NY.

That means that next month, when the vaccine passport law goes into effect, 72% of black Americans in NY will be denied service.

If you think voter ID is racist, you must also think vaccine passports are racist.

Good idea, they need to hear from us when they do something for us.

I e-mailed him too.
