The fascist left obviously learned nothing from the AIDS crisis of the 1980s, where the healthy were persecuted as walking biohazards simply because they were gay. Today, the healthy being persecuted as biohazards are the unvaccinated.
Those who choose not to get vaccinated are almost no threat to those of us who are vaccinated, and yet they are the ongoing targets of the left’s rising bigotry, hate, and social exclusion.
This is reprehensible behavior, straight-up bigotry, and like all acts of bigotry, history will not be kind to the bigots.
There is, though, one vital difference between AIDS and the coronavirus. Thirty-five years ago, the fatality rate for AIDS was 100 percent. Today, according to the CDC, if you’re under the age of 70, the coronavirus survival rate is over 99 percent. If you’re under the age of 50, the survival rate is over 99.9 percent. The early fear of AIDS was based, in large part, on the fact that if you caught it, you died. And you not only died, but you also died a grisly death as your immune system collapsed.
This is simply not the case with the China Flu, where, if you’re under 50, your chances of survival aren’t far from the flu.
Another difference is that 35 years ago, we saw an almost immediate pushback within our media, academic, and entertainment institutions against the persecution of homosexuals over AIDS, primarily because the left sees homosexuals as a protected class.
Today, those very same institutions, despite a 99 percent survival rate for those under 70 and the fact the vaccinated are nearly 100 percent protected against the unvaccinated, are on a persecution and bullying rampage for one very simple reason: They see the unvaccinated as the people they hate most: Trump voters.

right....and the non-gay population suffered during the AIDS crisis, as well, by being told that “everyone was at risk”.
So I get what the author is saying, and there is some merit in that. But the real point is that the CDC/Fauci always want to spread as much falsehood and fear as possible, and about that, all non-communists should agree (including gays who were unfairly stigmatized as being a “general” public health threat, which they were not....they were, however, a massive threat to each other).
Incidentally, I would challenge all of us to consider how many people we personally knew who died of AIDS, and compare that to how many we personally knew who died of Covid. I can tell you my knowledge of that first category is probably ten to 1.

It’s not hard to figure that SARS-Cov-2 was not a public health crisis. This was an opportunistic marketing campaign to address a stated objective. And it’s the easiest thing to describe because they are the ones that said it. And the Ocham’s Razor reality is they've said they needed to get the public to accept a pan-coronavirus vaccine countermeasure. And they needed the media to create the hype and investors would follow where they see profit.
When I see a person wearing a ski mask, waiving a gun, and standing with a bag of money in front of a bank; I will make the assumption that that person might be a bank robber.
Similarly, if I have somebody who says we need to use the media to hype a medical countermeasure which is in fact the injection of a synthetic, recombinant chimeric protein developed off of a computer simulation, I’m actually going to listen to the motivation for why that might be being done; I will listen to the person doing the manipulation who says investors will follow where they see profit.
You do not have anything else you need to rely on to explain the events of the last 20 months than the actual statement of the actual perpetrators.

here’s a radical truth: ideology and falsehood in pubic health doles out a lot of suffering to a lot of different groups. Lies just do not benefit anyone. Targeting the real groups at risk and finding solutions for them is the rational solution....but when there’s an opportunity for public health people to terrify the general populace and increase their control, rest assured they will do it and bad public health will follow....

Well, as far as I know, some cities did close bathhouses. Though perhaps under the guise of public health but possibly just to “move” people they didn’t want hanging around and forcing a sale of the properties to developers to raise the property tax and sales tax revenues.
