So I get what the author is saying, and there is some merit in that. But the real point is that the CDC/Fauci always want to spread as much falsehood and fear as possible, and about that, all non-communists should agree (including gays who were unfairly stigmatized as being a “general” public health threat, which they were not....they were, however, a massive threat to each other).
Incidentally, I would challenge all of us to consider how many people we personally knew who died of AIDS, and compare that to how many we personally knew who died of Covid. I can tell you my knowledge of that first category is probably ten to 1.
I remember the absolute glee of the homo lobby when that poor Ryan White boy got AIDS from a blood transfusion. The only research Fauci and the clowns like him were doing at the time was to show it wasn’t just the gay lifestyle spreading it. Which it was.
