A conservative talk radio host from Tennessee who had been a vaccine skeptic until he was hospitalized from COVID-19 now says his listeners should get vaccinated.
Phil Valentine’s brother, Mark Valentine, spoke at length on WWTN-FM in Nashville on Thursday about his brother’s condition, saying he is in a critical care unit on supplemental oxygen, but not on a ventilator. Phil Valentine has had an afternoon talk radio show on the station for years.
“First of all, he’s regretful that he wasn’t a more vocal advocate of the vaccination,” Mark Valentine said of his brother. “For those listening, I know if he were able to tell you this, he would tell you, ‘Go get vaccinated. Quit worrying about the politics. Quit worrying about all the conspiracy theories.'”

I’m suspicious of anything reported by the Associated Press. Pravda is more reliable.
I support the vaccines, but I also distrust the media, so some possibilities I see:
- They really are trying to increase vaccination numbers with these stories, but probably not because they give a darn about the conservative doubters. Better vaccination numbers make it look like their boy Biden has a handle on the pandemic.
- These stories have been very popular with the left on social media for all the wrong reasons. Many of them are laughing at and enjoying the suffering of conservative doubters that are near death. And since the MSM idiots are all over Twitter these days, they are putting these out because their people are getting a rush from them.

They’re all taking Ivermectin as a prophylactic. That or HCQ. They may be corrupt but they’re not stupid.
They’d never tell you if anyone other than a “conservative” had it.

I plan to call these docs one by one and ask them what their protocol is. If they don’t rx therapeutics such as this and monoclonal antibodies for their patients I will keep calling until I find one that will. I love my family doc but their advice for covid is supplements and call me back if it gets worse.

The article says Phil found a doctor who would prescribe Ivermectin so reading between the lines he may not have received it quickly. HCQ, zinc and a Zpak are proven to cure covid within a few days. My sister’s rhumetolgist told her if she got covid that’s what she would prescribe. She said she gave it to another patient and in 3 days he was almost over it. People are not being given proper medication in a timely fashion.
Since I got vaccinated (jan and june) I’m getting colds. Bad enough to keep me from working. I rarely got colds before. And I take zinc, magnesium, vitamin D, etc.
Anecdotal of course.

You have what you have looked up, I have real time numbers in a surge occurring presently. Ill believe my own eyes and information based on the reality of what is occurring.
I am a critical care anesthesiologist working in intensive care units daily. So I am as front line as they get. Please also understand that a lot of the literature quoted like what you have proffered is not really medical literature. For what its worth. I am ok with you not believing me — it is your right — but more and more victims of the disease are coming to the conclusion that they wish they were vaccinated and it is driving a hole through a lot of arguments for those who are against corona virus vaccines.
I am actively working each day to get monoclonals in the hospital for early phase treatment and yelling at the top of my longs to local and state government that the rules surrounding monoclonals are far to restrictive. I routinely get people right to the infusion center in early disease and it stops it cold.
Thank you for your kindness. Sometimes a nice work amidst the cacophony to attacks is very much so appreciated. I am reminded at the old saying, when you are over the target you take the most flack.
