I think the more fair thing to say is ivermectin may work. Antivirals as a group are not particularly effective and ivermectin just randomly being a particularly great one is a stretch. Studies have been mixed but I would be tempted to prescribe it if I were in primary care. I am assuming our friend is an anesthesiologist treating very ill patients in the hospital using drugs which he has personally seen work.

That is not what is occurring. It should be — dont get vaccinated and accept a risk of a disease that is fatal (and even if it is only 1 % or .5% of the time — would you get on an airplane with a 1/100 or 1/500 chance of crashing and dying — I would think not) or get a vaccine and take death and critical illness off the table as well as likely not getting infected at all.

Thank you for that link. If I understand it correctly, several COVID19 tests were granted EUA in Feb 2020 because there wasn't enough time or samples to build an industrial-strength test. Indeed, it seems some of the EUA tests were for I fluenza as well.

NOW, the EUA will lapse at the end of 2021 and firms must switch to a "better" test.

What that means, essentially, is that the designation that someone has COVID19 since Feb 2020 has been based on scores of tests of varying accuracy, and that this lack of consistency and accuracy continues today with the variants.

All the vaccines are experimental; no testing. The guinea pigs for testing are the public. There have been many cases of people dying from being vaccinated, and of course, the pro-vaxx people say it’s all such a small small part of the total. Well do you want to play that lottery?

Yep, I think most people know about the Ivermectin thing. I lost my doctor and don’t have a new one....so I take Quercetin, a nutritional supplement....structurally similar to HCQ. That and vit D3, zinc, C and lots of fresh air and exercise. I don’t know what to believe any more...but the vitamins and exercise make me feel good. Still not going to take the shots.

First of all I have played that lottery. Second your statement that there was no testing would surprise the 100,000+ people who took part on phase 1 - 3 clinical trials, and thirdly the cases reported in VAERS are as per the VAERS site not verified and subject to bias and cannot be used to determine validity. So, I understand what you are saying and I understand the strength of data you site.

In your post you stated one emotional argument — I have taken the risk personally. One false statement, that there was no testing, and one data driven point where the data are unsubstantiated.

Well, most people are going to a Farm Store and getting it in the form of Horse Paste.

That kind of seems like animal abuse because what are the Horses suppose to do now?

However, the Paste has a Delicious taste of Apple and when used as a spread on Ritz Crackers or English Muffins it’s simple irresistible……..
