A conservative talk radio host from Tennessee who had been a vaccine skeptic until he was hospitalized from COVID-19 now says his listeners should get vaccinated.
Phil Valentine’s brother, Mark Valentine, spoke at length on WWTN-FM in Nashville on Thursday about his brother’s condition, saying he is in a critical care unit on supplemental oxygen, but not on a ventilator. Phil Valentine has had an afternoon talk radio show on the station for years.
“First of all, he’s regretful that he wasn’t a more vocal advocate of the vaccination,” Mark Valentine said of his brother. “For those listening, I know if he were able to tell you this, he would tell you, ‘Go get vaccinated. Quit worrying about the politics. Quit worrying about all the conspiracy theories.'”

Many studies and actual frontline doctors disagree with you. I don’t know what your game here is. If you are actually a gas doctor, an anesthesiologist, then it is unlikely you are treating any patients yourself for this virus. Sorry, I simply don’t believe you.

Vaccine is a defined term in law and under CDC and FDA standards. A vaccine has to stimulate an immunity in the person receiving it. And it must also disrupt transmission. That’s not what this is. Even the drug manufacturers admit the jab or its mRNA does not stop transmission.
The jab is a treatment, but if it’s discussed as a treatment it would not get the sympathetic ear of public health officials because people would ask what other treatments there are.
Defining the narrative with the term vaccine is a sucker punch to open and free discuss discourse. “Vaccine” throws the discussion into one of pro/con vaccine. The jab is a mechanical device in the form of a very small packet of technology inserted into the human system to activate the cell to become a pathogen manufacturing site.
No basis exists to stipulate this is a vaccine. Simply put, this is a chemical pathogen device meant to unleash chemical pathogen production within a cell. It’s a medical device, not a drug. The jab is not a living or biologic system, but rather a physical technology that just happens to come in the size of a molecular package.
One has to make decisions based upon the information one has at the time.
I’m convinced. I’ll take a dozen. Don’t even bother gift wrapping them.

You can look up many previous post on FR that show most of those getting COVID are people who have already been vaccinated. A complete contradiction of what you say.
I already had full blown COVID. Was sick for 1 day and then a nagging cough for 2 weeks.

Thank you for continuing to do the Lord’s work by encouraging people to get monoclonal antibodies since that treatment is something that people sometimes have to bring up themselves to their well meaning but not always up to date primary care doctors and the window is so limited. You no doubt have helped prevent several FReepers and lurkers from advancing to severe COVID.
One would think that the fact that Trump made such a quick turnaround would already be encouragement enough for members of a conservative political forum to pursue that option, but then, I guess one could say similar about the vaccines he fully supports as well and we all know how that discussion can go.
Without getting into a huge discussion which I don’t have time for today, may I just suggest using “ivermectin” as a keyword. Look for articles with lot of freeper comments and you will find the “behind the barn door” supplier.

I don't understand the media blitz. Recent studies are showing that the overwhelming majority of unvaccinated individuals have no desire to get the vaccine now or ever. Continuing to shove our nose in shit is not going to make us comply.
There's no magic bullet, and every individual is different. They make it seem like if you get COVID, the very same panel of symptoms will afflict you. I've known people who had it who were laid up for weeks. And I've known people like my 83 year old grandfather who had a headache for a day and were fine thereafter.
There are a series of these one-of stories pushing the idea of “I bet you’re sorry now you didn’t get vaccinated now that you’re in the hospital”. It smacks of being a coordinated effort.
If the media was truly a disinterested party in all this, they would also run counter stories, and there plenty of them, where the vaccine resulted in paralysis, death, or other health complications.

Much as I like Pres. Trump, I don’t take medical advice from politicians.
It's not just this virus: I predict a superflu, natural or otherwise (the bird deaths on the east coast are a harbinger of what may come).
Ordering some Ivermectin for my medical supplies is on a list among other items still needed, but I'm covered:
If I get reinfected (likely, but I doubt I'll be hardly ill; I'm suspicious that my wife & I both had Delta this past week due to some very odd headaches in conjunction with what my wife described as 'strep' and sinus issues, but it never produced any pulmonary issues this go around), I'll still use my trusty method that got my vaping wife over it in a mere 48 hours (72 hours for me since I made the mistake of delaying a day).
I'll not succumb to a viral or bacterial infection of my lungs; others should take heed.
And remember a very important fact: Most people are at greater risk of death from a car crash than this virus.
But don't tell that to the Covidiots pushing the medical experiment upon the healthy.

I absolutely agree with regeneron. The monoclonals are amazing. We use a combo at my facility.
The best thing is to get vaccinated. We are up to 30+ again in hospital. Younger and all but 2 unvaccinated. The 2 are not in icu.
We had 80 at our peak in January.
I do this for a living. Don’t get money from pharm and no bonuses for covid diagnosis. Make your own choices but you have been informed by all sides.
