The heavily favorite U,S. women's soccer team was humiliated in its 3-0 loss to Sweden in the first round of the 2020 Summer Olympics. Many people, even conservatives, lamented that and hope the team can recover and go on to win a medal if not the gold. Not me. Winning the gold would only give a high visibility platform to America-haters like the team's captain, the woke Megan Rapinoe. The corporate media would make hay out of that like you wouldn't believe. This is the last thing the America needs.
But what about team members who do not ascribe to Rapinoe's negative view of America? Well, as Gus McCrae (Robert Duvall) said to his friend Jake Spoon (Robert Urich) as he was about to hang him in the iconic scene from Lonesome Dove, "You know how it works Jake. You ride with an outlaw, you die with an outlaw." Jake pleaded with Gus for his life saying he himself didn't do any killing. He was riding with the outlaws just to get through the territory. It didn't matter. Gus hung Jake.
Does it sound harsh not to wish the U.S. women's soccer team well? Maybe it is, just as hanging Jake was harsh. But if there is any hope of saving our constitutional republic, conservatives have to learn how to play hardball. This means every time and everywhere a leftist initiative shows its ugly head, it should be stepped on or at the very least resisted. It also means learning to anticipate when a seemingly inconsequential leak (success for the women's soccer team) in a dam can lead to flood. We have to learn how to play smart.

We all make choices in our life, some turn out well and some don’t. I wonder if any of these young ladies will look back with regrets for the choices they have made.
I have been lucky in life in that most (if not all) of my bad choices were not documented to become part of history. These images will follow them for years.
My eldest daughter was learning to play soccer in the early days of Women’s team’s rise to success.
When she joined a competitive/traveling team she got to wear the number 9 because she was small and had great ball control skills and little fear, just like her idol, Mia Hamm.
I have cheered them on at almost every step as they ascended to the most dominant women’s program in the world.
I hope they lose every game in group and have to go home early. I have no problem at all rooting for New Zealand and Australia this time around.
Of course those teams are probably full of lesbos too. It's like softball, eventually they take over so that straight girls don't even bother.
Wish them well hell....I’m rooting against them!!!
The left has pretty much ruined everything America holds sacred. I coached girls soccer for a few years and held up the Women’s National Team as role models for the young girls but then the women became woke rapidly and are now a disgrace.
I’m not rooting for or against lesbians.
I’m rooting against ungrateful, spoiled, stupid, dishonest, anti-Americans.

But...I feel perfectly comfortable in doing this. No problem with this at all. They are not in the least ashamed of it, which says something about the arrogant, anti-American POS soccer players. Not the ones standing up. I feel bad for them.

Without giving away too many details, let’s just say that the Opening Ceremonies were every bit the Wokefest we knew it would be.
I don’t feel bad for any of them. THEY should be demanding their teammates support America and revere the flag. But, it’s Communist Kickball so don’t really care. And you can’t use your hands? That’s just stupid.

July 21. Sweden 3-0 USWNT.
Today. New Zealand 1-6 USWNT.
July 27. USWNT v Australia 4AM ET.
So the US Women’s Team is now 1-1.
Looks like even if they lose Tuesday they’re still in it.
They’re playing in the quarterfinals on July 30. Depending how they do Tuesday has them playing either the #1 team from Group E or Group F in the Quarter.
Men’s basketball team just lost to France 83-76.
KD had an awful game. Only 10 points and fouled out.
