My eldest daughter was learning to play soccer in the early days of Women’s team’s rise to success.
When she joined a competitive/traveling team she got to wear the number 9 because she was small and had great ball control skills and little fear, just like her idol, Mia Hamm.
I have cheered them on at almost every step as they ascended to the most dominant women’s program in the world.
I hope they lose every game in group and have to go home early. I have no problem at all rooting for New Zealand and Australia this time around.
Of course those teams are probably full of lesbos too. It's like softball, eventually they take over so that straight girls don't even bother.
