I got an email today at work from my HR department saying that employees are "required" to take what they call "training on DEI&B". This evidently stands for "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion". I don't know what the "B" is for. Bull?
This has left me with a sick and uneasy feeling. I haven't taken this "training" yet so I don't know what it specifically entails. But I can make reasonable assumptions. I don't see a scenario where I take this thing and I don't come across statements or material that I find objectionable and false in its premises.
Retirement for me is still at least a decade away but it is on my horizon. I would prefer to simply opt out of this.
Can a company truly mandate this and make it a necessary requirement for employment? How is this not political indoctrination? What about MY rights and my freedom of conscience?
The email says I can contact HR with questions. But if I do this I would likely be making myself a target.
Sane people do need to make a stand against the madness of the Left. But is this a hill worth dying on?
I would like to hear your thoughts. Has anyone here had to deal with this at their job?

My husband had to take this crap...it was on vid from internet. I don’t imagine yours will be in person due to ridiculous covid. Just plug in shake your head, listen enough to answer the questions. VIDEO EVERY THING. Two can play this game and a lot of us are in the fight.
Stand up in the middle of the “training” and announce that you identify as black and that the white liberals in the room are oppressing you. If they attempt to dismiss your “coming out”, force them to define what makes someone black. Then stand back and watch the HR drones sputter as their brains go up in smoke.
So far at my workplace it’s been CBT with multiple-choice tests - i.e., cringe-inducing but no demands for self-debasement yet. If they ever try to force me to “acknowledge my privilege” or apologize for being white, I’ll quit.
We all need to game this out and decide where our line is and what we’re going to do ahead of time - so we’re not caught totally off guard.

I went through this during a a six month stint as a W2 employee/slave in 2014. Whenever they asked me a stupid question about their “diversity workshop” content I just answered either “That is just good manners.” or “ I learned that in kindergarten.” I gave the session a “1” rating and the comment “The shareholders are being robbed.”
HR departments are infested with mind-dead zombie leftists.

A ‘game’ is exactly what it is.
They feed you the answers during the presentation. Just polly-parrot them back.
I would just sit back and appear amused; and only object if asked to bow or kneel, etc.
If that happened, I would say that too many good people had died so that I and EVERY citizen of this Nation would never be obliged to bow or kneel to anyone - unless it were their God, if they believed in one.

If they ask you to bow or kneel, just claim that you are Muslim and the only entity you bow to is Allah. If they object, you can claim religious discrimination - which is against Title VII of the Civil Rights law.
Go and take careful notes. Save any materials that you can.
If it’s really outrageous stuff , anonymously publicize it.
