Well, it’s a drug. Like all of them, it comes with its own dangers and very few benefits besides getting high. And that in itself has consequences that users prefer to ignore.

2. Kids now days are just smoking tooo much. No longer satisfied with getting buzzed they seek alternative universes. And it causes them to puke their brain out.
A person can get really high on a couple of tokes of 20% weed, sometimes higher than they want to be.
So why smoke the whole joint?
When I was 16 I could buy an ounce or “lid” of Mexican ditch weed for $15. Two joints smoked and it was pleasant enough - like having a few beers. To get more potent stuff we’d score some hashish and that was about 2-3 times as strong. As time went on the potency kept increasing until by the time I was 26 two puffs and I’d be catatonic for 3 hours. It was no longer fun. I quit and haven’t touched it since. Now if I want to feel good I’ll take 50 or 100mg of Viagra!

I would assume people develop a tolerance for smoking 15% thc pot. As they use more potent pot to get high the tolerance increases. It looks like lower potency pot is the gateway to the 90% concentrate. From another thread I read it appears Colorado has the cheapest dope around. Easy, relatively cheap availability of 90% thc concentrates, what could go wrong? As a young man I did smoke, I guess 5% thc pot. How one can regularly ingest a drug twenty times more potent than that which left me null and void, I don’t understand.
