Video Shows DoorDash Driver Deliberately Contaminating Cop's Meal

A DoorDash delivery driver is being sought by Brooklyn police after making a video of himself deliberately contaminating an order from Chipotle. The driver apparently targeted the order because it was for a Brooklyn police officer.

The short video clip, posted to Facebook on Monday, shows the driver reaching into the open container of what appears to be a burrito bowl to bury the note under shredded cheese and lettuce.

“Ya kno I’m bout to violate the s–t out this order 61st precient [sic],” the video, posted by a user with the handle “So Certified,” was captioned.

The driver’s Facebook page has since been deleted, but he certainly had a lot to say.

The old adage, “Never upset those who handle your food” rings true here, but the cop had no chance. Guilty by association. It’s stories like these that reinforce my lack of interest in any delivery service. I’ll get my food, whether from a restaurant or a grocery store, the old fashioned way

I make my living Door Dashing, sort of my way of trying to go Galt. Even so I try my best to provide my customers exemplary service through due diligence. Trash who does crap like that, I like what someone suggested above, they need a good caning. Trash like that make the rest of us good guys look bad. As long as the Constitution is followed, I support the thin blue line.

Yes of course. But that's my question - in the mind of a DC/FDA bureaucrat, this could be a huge "systemic" risk. Why do they get to remain completely unregulated?

A friend of mine used to work at a restaurant that used such online delivery services and they had to work up elaborate safeguards (tamperproof sealed packaging etc) to keep the outsourced/millennial delivery drivers from opening them to “look”/”taste”/”taint”.

We eat at home.........A LOT!! What few times we’ve had delivery we don’t worry much. Still a little sanity and self-respect in our corner of the world.

I stopped when I learned they price gouge the food ordered from chick fil a. They added $.05 for a slice of cheese when CFa doesn't add anything.

We buy ours. You can’t beat Paul Newman’s Supreme Pizza. I add stuff to it and it’s out of this world. We’re old and don’t eat as much as we used to and those pizza’s are not as big as the ones you get in a pizza parlor and you sure can’t feed a family on just one but they sure are good........;)
