Two people have been arrested in Texas on suspicion of pulling a gun on a manager of a McDonald's restaurant during a dispute about salt on their fries.
Davion Guillory, 23, and Treykia Cohen, 25, have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, following an incident which occurred at the McDonald's restaurant located in the 128 block of E. Richey Road in Harris County on July 4.
The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office said in a statement that deputies were flagged down at the McDonald's in order to respond to reports of an aggravated assault.
An investigation found that Guillory and Cohen entered into an argument with the manager at the restaurant over salt on their fries.
Surveillance footage showed that the pair also displayed firearms at the drive-thru towards the manager during the verbal altercation.
The pair then drove off, but deputies were able to locate the car and detain them. A firearm was also found inside the vehicle.
Constable Mark Herman said that further investigations revealed that Cohen was already out on probation for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon at the time of the incident.

A salt and a battery
I’m not sure because what I read in the excerpt doesn’t quite match up with the video (video wasn’t drive through)
Judging by the video a white girl lost her **** and climbed onto the counters, threw stuff at the employee and was having a tremendous fit.
The uniformed McD’s girl had her fill and snatched the white girl off the counter and proceeded to beat her butt.
The counter girl deserved it but McD’s girl went a little overboard but I’m pretty sure she was adrenalin driven by that point.
No details about the dispute.
Was this supposed to be an order with NO salt on the fries?
Supposedly that gets you freshly made fries.
Also people who eat junkfood but try to hold to their doctor’s instructions may “reduce salt”.
Unlikely that the store would put EXTRA salt on the fries (batch) especially when they hand out little packets of fries.
I order seaon free fries as sodium is limited, never had a issue, and fries are then HOT NOT SOGGY COLD.

According to some young fast food workers I’ve listened to, some middle aged customers have been getting really abusive with them, even in a small town in the Midwest. They see threats, food thrown at them and all kinds of nasty talk. People have changed over the past couple of generations. Not very many father figures out there.

What lawsuit incomplete reporting! Was there too much or too little salt? Personally I hate unsalted french fries but pulling a gun is a bit over the top as responses go.
