An anti-white video at a pricey private school set off a firestorm

If there’s a silver lining to the COVID madness that swept America, savaged the economy, and allowed Democrats to put Joe Biden in the White House, it’s that a combination of distance learning and leftist hubris meant that the cultural Marxism in America’s classrooms hit home – and nowhere with greater impact than in New York, when upper-middle-class, White leftists discovered that the schools to which they’re paying huge sums annually are dedicated to teaching anti-White racism. The latest example was pricey Spence School, a staple for New York society girls. While the story broke three weeks ago, it’s heated up all over again because furious mothers have rejected the school head’s mealy-mouthed non-apology.

The story first exploded when Gabriela Baron, a first-generation American of Cuban descent, wrote a scorching letter to Spence School explaining why she was pulling her daughter out of the school. As the New York Post explained when the story first came to light,

“They sat there in their graduation dresses while the white mothers of the white students – many of whom volunteer, donate, call, email and do whatever the school asks of them – were tarred and feathered in a video their teacher showed them. While their white female teachers were mocked,” Baron raged in the missive, a copy of which was obtained by The Post.

“Mocked” is an understatement. The “comedian” in the video shown to the class called white women “annoying,” asked white feminists “What percentage of white women do you hate,” adding that “there is a right answer.”

I’m with you. We have some mixed-race couples in our church, and no one I know treats them any differently.

The thing that makes me mad about the commercials is not that the couples are mixed, or the children - but that the makers of the spot did it on purpose to poke me in the eye.

Homosexual couples are wrong according to scripture, but the commercial makers are poking us in the eye there, too, with the two guys in bed talking about what they can afford, and the two women who don’t seem connected unless you listen to the narration, and then you understand they are together.

Since I quit watching TV except for the War Room, I don’t see much in the way of commercials other than My Pillow Guy-Mike Lindell.

But before that, if I didn’t like the program etc. I would either switch channels or turn it off.

I've always felt that commercials (and television in general) is used as a means to direct society like cattle. An over abundance of mixed race couples? That's what society should be striving for. Mixed race children? That's what your kids should be, etc. Instead of letting people do what comes natural, it's being engineered. I also don't believe that there was previously an effort to only use white people. Marketing firms targeted a products likely consumer. That's all changed now.

My response to being called a ‘racist’ is to start doing what I’m accused of. In Asian restaurants, I tip 20% or more, same for Hispanic, same for Arab. But give me a black waiter...sorry guy, blame Jesse Jackson for your non-tip.

I'll continue to tip (overtip usually; I worked as a bartender for a lot of years) according to the level of service and attitude of the server.

I think folks are very naive about how advertising works--and a little research will remove the veil.

Effective advertising is based on manipulating strong emotions.

Those emotions are often subliminal--we don't know they are there and they are not our fault--they are our animal instincts.

That is the world of advertisers.

Folks here may not be impressed with the work of Freud and Jung, but imho they had excellent insights on how the human mind actually works--not how we would like it to work--but how it actually works. They laid the foundation for modern advertising.

Advertisers test different approaches with focus groups and test markets. They learn from their mistakes, and the big advertising firms are professionals who know _exactly_ what they are doing.

If they have a mixed race couple in an ad, it is there for a reason--and they have the market research to prove that it generates the emotions they want to generate.

I gladly tipped everyone, in the past, so did I just become a racist? If so, why? What changed? Perhaps now it’s time for them to start feeling some REAL collective punishment...not just imagined. When they stop blaming my kids for their failures, I’ll go back to tipping.

"They" may or may not be among those who do so. Among those who do, attitude usually gives them away. You'll get "The Look"; the one that says "I'd kick your @$$ or kill you if I thought I could get away with it". I've been fortunate enough in my lifetime to have only gotten a few of those.

the best way to spot real racists is not there interaction with black or white individuals but how they react to young children that are mixed races, I believe most people are not racist but those that are know they are pariahs and hide there views... the best place to find them is pouting off nonsense at the universities and in the teaching profession fresh out of collage.
