A dietary supplement — NAC — is showing promise in helping pot addicts overcome the urge to smoke.
When it comes to substance use disorders, alcohol use takes the greatest toll, both in dollars and health problems.
But marijuana addiction is a growing concern, for a couple of reasons. There may be more users. Pot is now legal in three American states and Canada’s new Liberal government plans to legalize and regulate it.
And the level of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, is now so high, experts worry pot smoking will have worse consequences in the future, especially for young people, whose brains are still developing. Pot smokers who start in their teens and now smoke daily, have a 25-50 per cent chance of developing addiction.*
Now a popular dietary supplement is being investigated for its ability to curb pot addiction. It’s called NAC — N-acetyl-cysteine. Mike Pond and Maureen Palmer discovered it while making their film, Wasted. Maureen explains how it works.

Thanks, Biden.
The THC Levels are outrageous.
Cause... It works against covid.
50% of psychosis and schizophrenia cases are associated with marijuana use.
Pot isn’t a drug, it’s a religion. Pot users feel the same way about pot extreme Muslims feel about Allah. If you insult it, they will go off on you.

(I thought they always told us that pot was non-addictive...)
The classic pot from the 1960s/1970s was not addictive. However I read that today’s pot has much much higher THC levels. So all bets are off now.
The Government wants a population of weak-minded, dependent types. Far easier to control than people who can think on their own. All the “thinking” in the future will be done by AI that is programmed by the Elites.

Pot is a gateway drug - to socialism.

You can smell the higher levels.

That’s why pot is now called “skunk” and addicts are called “skunkers.” Often manifesting violent or psychotic behavior.
We just had one attack police and get killed. Put two of the police into the hospital before they could subdue him.
Including the NIH, apparently.
Pot has been called skunk weed since I was in high school. I graduated in 1973.
That’s good data, thank you.
Likely the vast majority were already crazy.
But they are, by far, a minuscule minority of pot users.
How old is this article? Legal in 3 states? “Might be legalized in CA?”
